All in All a superb return to F1 on the BBC  What a result for Brawn GP, Jensen& Rubens and Lewis & Maclaren (with an under-developed car 8)) 8) -
The 'new' door has the old style trim. That won't matter unless it bugs you and you want to shell out £40-odd for the late horizontal strip and around £150 for the big bit just to make it the same as your other door!!

 You mean of course north American west coast, unless there's a California in Peru, Brazil, Chile, Argentina etc???

I was lucky last time it happened to me, my mate reverved into mine with her landrover while I was sorting her shower. Caught me in a similar area although it took the paint down to original primer and was a bigger dent right under the light cluster. Protected NCB was handy and she of course coughed for it through her insurance. That was 18 months ago and I still bring it up in conversation!!! Hope you can sort it soon, i hate these selfish ignorant f&ckers.

Could be worse, I had to give Renault £15 once for the plastic surround for the hole in the bonnet the support slotted into!! :bad-words:

Josh the only dfference will be the exhaust hangers. The 1.8 valvers have hook type hangers and the 2.0 valvers have bar type hangers. This may explain the differnce in price, but £300- 350 seems fairer depending on the exhaust make. The exhausts themselves will be the same length. The 1.8s have a long down pipe while the 2.0s have a short down pipe together with a seperate Cat section which will make it up to the same length as the 1.8s. 'Cat-back' is used to describe the fact that the down pipe and/or Cat is not included in the system price. Hope this helps. Colin

If a previous own has been a cheapskate and used halfords stick-on replacement mirrors or similar then you won't get the benefit either, even if they 'do'work'! I don't think there's any chance of 'burning out' the rear demist, it doesn't get hot only a bit warm!!!!
-
It won't have a Cat but the down pipes are longer so they're the same length as the cat pipes. Meaning all Cat-back exhausts fit perfectly whether a Cat was originally fitted or not. 8) Milltek meself

Eek I had a similar advisory, better have a look tomorrow!! voo51 Had any luck sourcing one other than from VW?

I've done that before, it's an easy mistake, it just drops past the pin as you re-assemble. No panic you'll need to take the front of the clocks off again and just pop it the correct side of the pin it's flexible enough, and then make sure it stays there  . Simple but a pain! 8)
