Calling me a liar???!!   I'd sooner save/spend it on the car I have than loose money with every car change. Few mods, late spec upgrades, ICE tweeks etc. Plus there is zero chance of getting a dud if I stick with the one I know!! Got it with 79.5k on it now has 202.5k on it - Love it 8)

Add to this the fact it took me 18 monthsto get a Countryside job that I'm actually qualified for (rather than jet washing scaffolding ALSO 18 miles away!!) and swapping jobs could well be a non-starter!! Not this year! I started at the bottom in Nov and I'll still be there this time next year! :epicfail: But it is a job!!
-
Be talking to VW on payday then!!

I gave two lads a lift from the pub yesterday and going through Bredhurst to Boxley there are numerous speed bumps of the fecking annoying pimple/lump kind and even crawling over at walking pace or less the bottom of the car scrapped some of them and it's only lowered 35/40mm. :mad2: Oh and we're not 20 stone monsters either!! All they do is slow people whom actually care about their car, the general school run parent in their sh!tie euro-box, people carrier or cleasea tractor don't even seem to notice them :censored: . Classic Ministry of Sh!t Design. :epicfail: Get'em right across the fecking road so it doesn't wear the tyre inners or don't bloody bother -- :bad-words: B@ST@RDS!!!! :bad-words:

If you NEED a job you may not have the luxury of choice of location, moving ain't exactly cheap either. I have to travel 18 miles and it's ridiculous by Public Transport. My day is 0830hr to 1700hr and it takes around an hour-hour 15 round trip by car versus 5 by train/bus and a shit load of walking :epicfail: .

Winter tyres are fit and forget - job done. If they were a legal requirement there would prob be less accidents and the country wouldn't grind to a halt whenever we had 1/2" of snow costing everyone in the long run. Winter tyres for the WIN  Just my Twopeneth

For the record, I fitted winter tyres because my worn, SUMMER tyres are sh!te on snow and now i'm working full time as opposed self employed I need to actually get to work safely every day I can or loose leave. If your running (worn) SUMMER tyres in these conditions and need to get to work then Winter tyres are a bloody good idea - period
