I have changed the fuel filter today and put a hole bottle of injector cleaner in with about £7 of optimax. Its was running better but not perfect. I thought I had sorted it. Put some more fuel in, drove back to Huddersfield from Leeds. When I got to Huddersfield it felt almost as bad again! :( I'm thinking that a new fuel filter will have initialy given less resistance to the fuel pump. But as it beds in the resistance is back to normal. ????????? I didnt clean the intank filter. Once I got into the tank the pipes atached to the fuel pump had clips on them that I have never seen before. So I left them. So it could be intank fuel filter, fuel pump, blocked injector or fuel pressure regulator???

Some had greys and others had greens! So I hear!

Ben you didnt tell me it went up to 124c, thats to high! Should idealy ever get that high. Mate if it does it again take it strait back to AVW where you had the work done. Forgot to mention while I was there I put my old Jabba chip in the place it belongs! THE BIN!!! :lol: They had an SNS map that suited my grey injectors. The greys actually have a really high flow rate. Thinks it something like Greens=28 Reds =30 and Greys=35. But there may also be different types of Greys about.

I have a similar spec to you except for high lift cam. Ported + polished head instead. I also have grey rallye injectors. Had my car setup and maped at G-Werks/PitStop (Darren, Steve + Co) and it was the sweetest its every been! There not far from you either! Take it to them to get it sorted! You wont regret it mate! :lol:

There are 5 door GTI's. Also you can get 2 door 1.3's, etc.

ohhh nooooo! Now I know that the part numbers are the same on a normal grill and a Limited grill!! That beats some of the other trainspotter facts I know!! I'm sure to boor one of my mates or some unlucky punter at a show with that one!!!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: What happend to it? Did it have an original VW motorsport badge on it? I saw a Golf Gti G60 on a german site with a G60 Limited grill on it. Very cool!!!

Mine are wheels are 4x100 fittment same as corrado. There also et33 but not sure how high you can go there unless you fit coilovers. Henny what off-set are those borbets on your C? (because I had them on my car before)

Cheers Steve, is number 12 on the internal diagram the intenal fuel filter?

Cheers mate, how much is that clip tool. Is it the same as the one for the external fuel filter? Can I get it from German + Swedish or Euro Car Parts.
