1. Corrado 1.8 16V KR Tornado Red for sale. Photo Gallery A fair bit of work done over the past two years to get her on road and running well. Will want a loving home to take her from good to great! Work done since owning her New head, head gasket, cam chain and timing belt (done by Volkspeed in Ashtead http://www.volkspeed.com/) reconditioned head by Rox Cox engineering in Reading (skimmed, acid dipped etc). Oil pump and oil cooler done at the same time. 3 out of 4 brake calipers replaced, all 4 brake disks, pads and rear bearings Lupo GTI windscreen wipers upgrade (props to the this forum for all the suggestion) Heater Matrix and seal around the air intake under the bonnet (HUGE props to this forum for the how to) Tuned by Rox Cox Engineering in Reading Wheel camper and alignment redone (the camber was awful when I got her) General smaller service bits in the engine and all the filters replaced... She is in good shape after having not had good attention from the previous owner. Includes the original alloys but they will need reconditioning before being put on her. Looks like some coil overs were fitted previously, but have no specific info on them, dont think they are anything special. MOT is good til Nov this year. Advisories are: Windscreen damaged but not adversely affecting drivers view Fuel pipe/s corroded Offside Front (Top mount has slight play) Power steering component has slight seepage from a component Current mileage 138,698. Was hoping to give her some more love and take her driving but a turn in health has meant not been able to put in the effort as I would like and that may be the case moving forward so looking for a good home. Looking for £4500 ono Will do my best to answer any questions in this thread, PM me for contact details to arrange viewing/test drive. Located in Camberley Surrey GU16 post code area.
2. ***SOLD*** R32 1993 Dark Pearl Burgundy Corrado - £3500 ono With regret, I need to pass my beloved car onto a new owner. It's a fantastic drive, and has been extremely fun in the last few months on the occasion I've chosen to take it for a spin. Vehicle Mileage: 188,000 Engine Mileage: ~25,000 (Seller of engine claimed 10k, no reason to disbelieve this, 15k covered since) Engine MKV R32 3.2l 24v VR6 - Remapped by Vince at Stealth Racing to 290.8 BHP!! BMC CDA intake Poly front engine mount Dubpower 6 branch stainless manifold Magnex (standard VR6) exhaust New parts including MAF, Lambdas, Radiator, ECU, Throttle Pedal Suspension & Drivetrain 288mm Brake upgrade MKIV Rear Calipers KW V2 Suspension Upgraded control arm bushes (R32 golf) All subframe & drivetrain components replaced over the last 3 years, including wheel bearings, brake discs/pads, suspension bushes, rear beam bushes and complete brake overhaul, handbrake cables. Body & Exterior Restoration work on boot around windscreen, number plate surround, both wings, sills (done in 2014) Inpro lights all round, not to everyone's taste and unfortunately do not have any standard parts (bought from previous owner this way) Upgraded headlight loom Black BBS RC 17" wrapped in Toyo T1Rs (genuine wheels) Spoiler has been serviced and works. Sunroof hasn't been serviced but still works! Interior Momo steering wheel JVC stereo Used as a daily by me for a number of years both before and after the new engine. Had a lot of love and care over the years, with all work completed to a high standard by myself or others I took it off the road from September 2015 until November 2018. Since November, it's regained an MOT and has been used on weekends and evenings and when not in use it's garaged. Whilst I've been using it these last few months, I've had various things done including; New Battery, Alternator and starter motor (all bosch/varta) New front offside outer CV New clutch slave cylinder (in the last 3 months alone, it's had around £1300 spent on it!) Negatives The windscreen has a crack on both sides. It's not in a position to cause a failed MOT, but it will need replacing. There are two areas of rust that will need sorting; One spot is on the inside of the A-Pillar approximately 1 or two inches, it had always been my intention to get the windscreen replaced and fix this rust at the same time. Underneath and adjacent to the rear badge are two spots bubbling, approximately the size of a 20p piece each. Rust wise, this is pretty much it. There is none in the usual other places, like under the filler cap, wings and sills. These have already been restored around 4 years ago to a high standard. Reason for sale: This needs to go on to someone who has the time to make it perfect. I have put a lot of time and money into this car, but want to hang up the hat. It is a fantastic car and I will miss it greatly, it will give the new owner a great amount of enjoyment. £3500 ono Located in Leicester. 3. SOLD Welcome to the sale of a VW Corrado Storm up there with the holy grail of Corrado's! This is one of the most well known Corrado’s in the community and the time has come for me to pass this awesome machine to a new enthusiast. I have a growing small family and do not have the time to drive it like it deserves to be. I am not a regular poster on this forum so a few people may have wondered who bought this cracking car and what happened to it! I bought this Storm directly from Kip back in August 2017 who I know is very highly regarded and popular on this forum. This Corrado was Kip’s pride and joy and he carried out the modifications and upgrades over a long period of time since 2008. The reason I bought it is mainly because my Dad drove a VR6 Corrado for 14 years when I was little and I loved it back then so wanted to have the chance to own one for myself! I’ve also owned a number of classic cars myself including TVR’s and a lovely 20V tornado red Audi ur Quattro. The VW is a 1995 Corrado Storm in Mystic Blue colour which is the rarest colour of the limited edition Storm versions that VW manufactured. Please see Kip’s original build thread here since September 2008 where he did a full nut and bolt restoration at the same time as fitting the R32 engine: http://www.the-corrado.net/showthread.php?40739-KipVR-s-R3-2-Storm-build The engine is a 24 valve using an Audi TT R3.2 litre engine currently with approximately only 54,000 miles on it with currently 139,220 on the odometer. This may go up a bit before the sale as I do a small amount of daily driving in the Corrado. The brakes are Brembos in Silver whilst the suspension is a Bilstein PSS9 kit. The look of this Corrado Storm is a very OEM using mainly OEM parts and any non-standard parts that were used still keep the OEM look. The only non OEM look is the wheels. These could easily be changed to the original Speedlines but I had the car with a set of BBS RS alloys (now sold) that gave the Storm a meaner look to match the engine! With the 24V engine, this makes the Corrado the car VW should have produced after the VR6 Storm came out. With 24V is more urgent and powerful than the standard 2.9 VR6 to make it a properly rapid car on pace instead of purely a quick one. As mentioned I have previously owned TVR’s (4 for my sins!) and this Corrado can easily match their raw power whilst not feeling it will kill you at the same time! However, that 24V whilst taking the power level up, does not exceed the capability of the standard Corrado chassis. Couple this with the other subtle mods Kip carried out, this car is utterly awesome. When I first drove it I thought it was a true wolf in sheep's clothing and that is exactly what this car is! I would like to state that the work and attention to detail that Kip carried out is second to none. To quote Kip, he spent months getting the difficult wiring in the Corrado really tidy, and creating an engine loom that was plug and play into the standard VR6 fusebox, he also fully protected in conduit like a modern loom - this is not a soldered and taped up loom, it's been properly done with a lot of love and care using fusebox connecting pins and waterproof OEM plugs and sockets. See the pic of the loom in the photos. Please see a link to all the photos of the Corrado Storm including restoration photos, current photos and comprehensive service history: https://www.flickr.com/gp/183979426@N03/1326g2 Kip drove the car for a year as a daily driver to iron out any problems following the conversion - there weren't really any problems with it, he did tinker with the suspension and geometry to get it good for the UK roads. The Bilstein suspension is fully adjustable and the way it is currently set up can feel a little harsh / crashy over potholes. I enjoy the low profile driving nature, however, this can be changed by the new owner if they should wish. I have kept the car fully garaged during ownership so the underside and running gear remains very clean. The entire engine conversion runs extremely well, I have not had any major problems with it and the driving experience has been an absolute pure joy. Re. servicing, I have only taken the Corrado to independent VW specialists, Steve and Michael at VW Revolution based in Great Missenden who have carried out all the servicing and iron out any issues during my ownership. Steve and Michael are both VW trained master technicians with over 45 years’ of experience working at VW main dealerships running their service and repair operations. My Corrado Storm has been in very safe hands during my ownership! I have all the servicing paperwork and happy to run through that with a potential new owner. Next service is due early 2020. Re. number of owners, I am the sixth owner but worth noting that 2 of the previous owners have actually been Kip himself and 1 of them his friend, another Corrado enthusiast. The main list of modifications that were carried out during the restoration period include the following:- Engine: 3.2 Audi BHE engine MAF and Airbox. Brakes Front: 323mm Brembos, in Silver. Brakes Rear: 280mm rear brakes. Suspension set-up: Bilstein PSS9 kit with custom damper tune (designed for the road not track!) Bilstein suspension can be sent off for a rebuild or re-tune to how you personally like it for individual driving experience. Exhaust: Jetex Exhaust, complete system. Alcantara Headliner throughout - looks stunning and gives an extra feeling of luxury. Rear Lights: All red rear lights to give clean look. Trimmed Centre Console - looks very nice. Custom made rear casing in the boot with carpet (see photos) to make the boot completely flat. HID Morimoto projector retrofit wired with 6 waterproof miniature relays. Awesome lighting, but subtle as it retains the original headlight. New glass on the headlights. Similar to a Mk2 Golf Rallye headlight but the projector is more subtle. The projector gives a much better light pattern than the original headlights. Textured black slam panel and under headlight bar- to match textured grille (original mystic blue Storm grill also included in the sale) Fuse box on battery to feed headlights and fans (and aux water pump) Period Alpine Head unit, with a Bluetooth music and handsfree adapter installed. USB chargers in place of the cigarette lighter and in the glovebox. Battery voltage meter inside the glovebox to see what the battery is doing. FYI, I keep the battery on a trickle charge in the garage with a CTEK charger). OEM electric Recaros - fully working in stunning black leather! VW Lupo Wiper Arms. New Windscreen. Re. other electricals on the car, everything is working as it should including the notorious Corrado electric sunroof! Re. the negative points on the car, I will be perfectly honest about them:- Firstly, the brakes - they are good but not certainly not that strong given the extra power so I had a new bespoke braided brake hose lines installed as the original bespoke hoses were wearing out. This has certainly helped but Steve at VW Revolution recommends getting the calipers skimmed to help improve braking further. Secondly, the exterior - the bodywork is good but definitely not 100% perfect - the bonnet has small stone chips and could do with a full respray. There is a small dent on the drivers side rear wheel arch that happened to Kip unforseen in a car park but its not noticeable unless looking for it. There are other bits of the bodywork that could do with some work but nothing major, e.g. stone chip on the VW badge etc. I have to say thought, for a car this old, the paintwork does look extremely good overall and I am personally really fussy with paint. For any amateur car detailers out there, I have polished using a combination of Meguiars and AutoGlym products finishing with Victoria Concours Red Wax. Thirdly, Steve noted there is a very small amount of play in the upper steering rack - only really noticeable under hard braking but something to consider addressing for the next service. The electric Recaro seats were trimmed in dark grey leather in 2017 with quality carpet mats to finish the interior off. The handbrake leather still needs a replacement but I have not touched the car myself in anyway since Kip owned it apart from the other wheels & regular servicing and use. Re. MOT the next one is due 31st October 2019 and it had a geometry check with printout at VW Revolution on the last trip. Re. price, I bought the Corrado from Kip at a great price. Its difficult to value giving the time and effort that has gone into it. Ideally I would like £10,000 for it which I believe is a lot of Corrado for a genuine Storm and a testament to the stunning quality of the restoration. I have taken the Corrado to a lot of classic car shows and everyone compliments on it, especially that awesome engine bay! In my opinion, this is up there with the holy grail of Corrado’s which is why I bought it and I’d love an enthusiast to enjoy it as much as I have during their ownership. To note, I have not advertised on PistonHeads nor AutoTrader yet as I consider this the best place for a Corrado enthusiast to buy a fully restored Storm. I may advertise on eBay for a larger VW audience. Also, I have actually managed to find a replacement car in a private sale that I would like to purchase sooner than later so would prefer a quicker sale if possible! I am based in Wendover, Chilterns in Buckinghamshire which is about a 30 minute drive from Oxford. If I think of any further information I’ll add it on here. Thanks for looking and any questions feel free to PM me directly on here.

9. NOW SOLD I have a full grey interior from a late VR6 for sale. The interior has come from a car with genuine sub-60k mileage, so it's in good condition. This lot is now on eBay for auction starting at £70. Ends 7:30pm on Sunday 29 October. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/322842200628?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 The drivers seat has a small bit of bolster wear, but the other seats have no damage. The passenger seat isn't shown in the pictures but it is included in the sale. A speaker cover is missing in the pictures, but is included in the sale. Collection from Wilmslow in Cheshire or from Knutsford near J19 of the M6.
10. Not sure the proper name for it, but I have for sale the plastic cover for the inner panel of the boot by the lock/catch. It's a bit grubby but is free from cracks, etc, and comes with the plastic plugs as well to fix the cover to the boot. More photos available if required. Would prefer collection do to the fragile nature of plastic but could post at the buyer'a expense/risk. Price is £15, located just outside Cardiff
11. Vr6 rad support up for sale Shot blasted and Powder coated last year. With stainless power steering pipe bolts. My car unfortunately got written off, so selling off some spares and recouping costs. I'll offer it up to you guys on here if no one wants it I'll pop on eBay . Please pm me and I'll send the photos over. As I can never seem to be able upload them on here. £150 posted
12. EDIT: Now sold, cheers Hi guys, The time has come to sell the G60 :(. I've had this car since 2009 and It's only done aprox 10,000miles with me. Mostly due to it spending the majority of it's time under cover with it's engine out. I've probably spent the best part of £5000+ give or take over the past 7 years. However, the arrival of a new baby in the house means i'm having to reluctantly sell her. She is currently SORN with no MOT but i hope i have priced her accordingly. She is a J reg, has 170k on the clock and has been sat up in a garage for the past 2 years. I was using her as a summer car mostly, I had a small power problem a few years ago that turned out to be a boost leak but otherwise the engine seems sound. last MOT was in Aug 2013 with 3 advisories, 2 for the tyres and 1 for the exhaust but i have a new stainless steel one that will be included in the sale. I have a full and VERY honest thread regarding the major works and problems I've fixed here : http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?44782-Alex-s-G60-Mistress-up-for-sale TLDR see bellow for mostly full listing of works Spec. Stage 4 Charger on a 68mm pully Kw v1 suspension Powder coated cross members + slam panel Replaced sub-frame, engine mounts, steering rods, wishbones, and all ball joints and rubbers associated with these. New roof mech and seal New radiator and temp sensor New lambda sensor New fuel filter New throttle cable New brake bias valve New steering wheel and cowling New front and rear brake calipers, pads and disks (last 1000 miles) New copper brake lines throughout replaced PAS rack and pipes replaced charger tensioner pulley and spring Replaced braided oil feed hose to charger Refurbished original interior including replacement centre console and various plastic trims Upgraded head light loom in IP60 rated box All electrics working and engine bay wiring has been hand wrapped in new flame retardant fabric Working spoiler Upgraded door handle pins and re-tumbled all locks to match ignition (two keys included) 15inch Fox alloys with custom hub caps CD player And lots more (check the thread for everything) Included in the sale are the following: Spare CNTgolf MK3 diesel gear box New milltek exhaust and tubular steel manifold New resprayed rear bumper and bumper iron (iron was hot dipped and painted in 2pac) Replacement late style bonnet in very good condition (dragon green) G60 Throttle body (intended to port and replace existing) Polished rocker cover Two Sony in car fitted speakers, previously fitted to parcel shelf. Spare sun roof panel One box of various OEM bolts, valves, sensors, relays etc. All brand new (there is a load more stuff but i can't remember it all. If i find anything of importance I will update the thread) Cons Needs new bonnet due to excessive corrosion (hence the included bonnet) Rear passenger wheel arch is going rusty. Spoke to a friend in auto body repair and he said a new panel would be best but could be repaired. Passenger door needs resprayed Charger is due a service. There was a boost leak due to a poorly connected pipe, but the charger is also very much past its best. The alloys are little scuffed and two of the tyres are needing replaced (close to legal limit) I'm asking for £1400ono for the car and everything listed. Anything else i have that is corrado related is also yours as i need the space in the garage. If someone wants the car as is without the extra stuff then the car buy itself is £1100 I love this car... It pains me to sell it tbh but she needs a good home. I'll be giving all forum members first refusal. Car is located in Dundee, Scotland. Thanks Alex Price reduced for quick sale

14. THE CAR IS NOW SOLD - THANKS FOR LOOKING Hi All For Sale - Dark Burgandy Pearl Corrado G60 - K959 WBD with late model front end Unfortunately its come to that time where i have to let go of my corrado. Lifes changed quite a lot for me and the corrado has been on the back burner for the last year and half or more. Having moved house and changed my job i just do not have the time or money to put towards the project and it's time to sell so somebody else can enjoy the car it. The car has been stored on hard ground and not on grass with weeds growing up it or anything similar. The car does run but it's not advised as the engine has a tapping noise seemingly coming from the top end of the engine, somebody did come and have a quick look for me but without taking the engine to bits they said they couldn't be 100% sure what the problem was. One of the injectors looks potentially faulty so could be a quick easy fix. I did start looking for some new ones but then leaving my job, finding a new one and getting a new house took priority. I have a video somewhere of the sound and i think i posted it on these forums at one point looking for advice so will see if i can link to it incase you want to hear. As such the car currently sits sorn and will need trailering away from where i live to its new home. Good Points, -Lots of history with the car including tax discs, mot certs, servicing paperwork, receipts for work done and parts replaced including top end rebuild. -Supercharger had been rebuilt relatively recently and has done very little miles since. I have receipts from G-werks and Jabba. The charger was rebuilt at 141,000 miles, the car now has 143,000 on it. The car had only done 200 miles after charger being rebuilt and i ran it in properly keeping revs low, not using more than half throttle and making sure oil temp was up -Car was taken to a forum day rolling road and achieved pretty decent figures for a mostly stock car. Ran perfectly and the guys at stealth said it seems pretty strong. 167.7bhp & 171lb ft torque -The sunroof tilts and slides (have receipt for this being replaced in the cars life) The rear spoiler goes up and down Have a receipt for this being replaced in the cars life -Has coilover suspension and is lowered a little. Don't think the coilovers are anything too fancy but they do the job. -Interior is nice and clean with minimal things wrong with it, see pics -Electric windows both work and motor replaced on one side. -Electric Mirrors both work -Some bahn brenner intercooler pipes id like to think the car is pretty solid and straight. Bad points, -Engine woes, as described above. -rust in a couple of spots. One small patch behind the spoiler on the bootlid. Not visible when the spoiler is down and on the front door behind the bump strip in a small place. Again barely visible. -stone chip on bonnet -central locking not working, electrical gremlin. Have tested components and all work, had pump working too. Think an old alarm might be interfering. -Scratch on the passenger side rear quarter panel. Tried to show scale with a coin. Not tried to see if it will polish out.The car had been dry stored and when i got it back to my house it was out on the street for less than 24 hours and somebody decided to do that. Made my blood boil!! I think £THE CAR IS NOW SOLD is a fair price for the car. The car is based a few miles outside of banbury, oxfordshire. The car can be viewed pretty much any day after 6pm, obviously this isnt ideal at this time of the year but if you are interested then let me know and i will let you know what days i have off work and we can make something happen. Message me on here and i will pass my contact details on. any questions or if i have forgotten something then please ask. I will try and reply quickly. 15. FOR SALE Audi TT 225 Quattro £3600 ono 2000 x reg 125000 miles 12 months MOT (no advisories) Good condition throughout Black half leather interior It pains me to sell this car but needs must. 17. My current lust for a TT continues so without further a do I'll advertise my motor to see what interest I get. My signature lists most of the good bits but a picture (taken this lunch time) paints a 1000 words. Signature doesn't mention Momo steering wheel (plus original), SWG scuttle or kamei eyebrow spoiler, pill key, cat 1 alarm, factory Corrado mats and first aid kit (this list may grow when I remember bits) Bad bits - some lacquer peel and other age related marks. She isn't mint, but definitely solid and way better than others I looked at. Would rather she goes to a enthusiast who'll run her rather than break her for parts. Looking for £2k ono (plus another £300 if you want the Alpine 7" DVD/sat nav system) PM any questions or call me zero seven 949 two six zero 2 zero 1 (evenings or weekends are best) Stuart. P.S. almost didn't post this.
18. Hi all I have a vr6 subframe with wishbones iodeal to refub one while yours is still on teh car sold
19. *THIS IS NOT SOLD, IM AN IDIOT AND SELECTED THE PREFIX ON TAPATALK CAN AN ADMIN PLEASE CHANGE THIS AS I CANT SEEM TO DO IT ON MY PHONE!!* I bought this ASD and ran it on my G60 (which is being broken for spares) nice quiet box, I cleaned it with an acid cleaner when I bought it so it's nice and clean. With this box you can get just shy of 70mph in 2nd gear as it has very long gears. Also when cruising at 70-80 mph the box will be turning at 2-2.5k rpm, great for a long drive and good fuel economy. This is the single best modification you can make to a G60 in my opinion, it makes the car so much more drivable and should have had this box in from the factory. You will not regret fitting it. These are going on eBay for 180 at the moment, but you have to risk it being a dud. £190 + shipping or collection from West Sussex.
20. For sale is a late VR6 clock cluster. 160mph 7000rpm. These have fitted a set of DDI illuminated dials and reverse LCD kit to turn the back light on the two screens red. The cluster also has a uv light inside to make the needles glow. Also all three gauges have DDI aluminium gauge rings which look very smart. These can be seen from the attached pictures. There is a slight scratch on the plastic over the Rev counter which I have also tried to show in the pictures. Once in the car this is not noticed. Looking for £150 Any questions please ask
21. Hi, Over the years that I owned Corrados I amassed a huge load of parts that I've kept as spares. I keep an eye on the wanted pages for people wanting stuff and try to help where I can. However I've taken on some other projects (possible diesel conversion of a TTand a Vauxhall-engined carbon fibre Mini Sprint) and I've unfortunately come to the realisation that I've run out of room. Ive got bits of Corrado lying around as well as bits of Mini and bits of 1.8T/S3 not to mention bits of Skoda from a light restoration that I've just undertaken and it's all getting a bit too much to keep seperate to be honest! Anyway, on to the parts. I have boxes full of them and over the years I have tried to keep them catalogued and easy to access however this hasn't always been easy! They are roughly separated into: Interior trim/plastics Exterior trim/plastics Engine bay trim/plastics Engine bay Electrical Brakes/clutch Running gear Unfortunately it's not easy to photograph everything the best way so I've got all of the boxes down and taken pictures as they are, not to mention stuff in a cupboard and other items of exterior trim, spoilers etc. There's far too much stuff to list individually (it'd take me hours) but everything I've kept is functional or capable of being used with a bit of cleaning up etc. Highlights include: A set of 280mm VR6 calipers and carriers x 2 sets of late heater controls x 2 gearstick gaiters Leather handbrake trim and plastic shroud VR6 flywheels x 3 VR6 coilpack engine wiring loom Other assorted VR6 wiring looms Several sets of external door rubber trims Wiper motors VR6 lower inlet Rear stub axles VR6 CV joint and driveshaft Loads of switches, relays etc including headlight switches A set of roof trims First aid kit VR6 master cylinder Front bumper bar (ideal to powdercoat) VR6 alternator VR6 wishbones Lower front bumper trims Auxiliary water pump VR6 ISV Pretty much a whole set of VR6 coolant hoses with thermostat housing, sensors etc. Radiator brackets and rubber bushes Plenty of little hard to find Corrado specific fittings, bolts, nuts etc And loads, LOADS more. I'd just like it all gone in one lump please to make things easier. I'm afraid there is far too much stuff to post but it should all fit in a normal sized car. Unfortunately the plastic boxes aren't included but I can provide plenty of substantial cardboard boxes to put it all in. £300 takes it all. Here is just some of the stuff - sorry the pictures aren't brilliant, it's hard to get it all in. Thanks Tom Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
22. I have surplus to requirement these original Corrado wheels complete with premium winter tyres. The wheels are all straight and in good condition. The tyres all have 6mm of tread and look hardly used. All 195/50/15, 2x Dunlop SP Winter Sport M3, 2x Goodyear Eagle Ultra Grip. These are all good and pricey tyres and ideal for the upcoming months. There is a little light corrosion where wheel weights have been fitted but not bad for original wheels Please ask if you have any questions. Priced at £300 open to offers Located in either Ipswich or Colchester Thanks Oli
