Meet Gooney, son of Badcrumble! :lol: Picked this 166k 1.8 valver up from Gav and Nikki, for the princely sum of 300 squid. To say I'm pleased is an understatement! Engine sounds sweet as a nut and the interior is mint. First job is to get it MOT'd then we'll see what changes take place.... Not sure it is the favour category as suggested earlier, valvers with that sort of miles seem to be around the £500 mark now (Although it does look very very nice for £300) Looks pretty standard apart from ride height, is that a rallye spec one (manual windows etc) or did the original owner shell out for the electrics pack? M15 VW 0 Posted February 2, 2008 Sitting on someone's drive down the road :) The guy who had it was the grandson of the original family owner. Basically the grandad died, left it to the uncle then the uncle gave it to the nephew but the nephew didnt want to mod it because it was his grandad's - so we made him an offer :) The grandad obviously loved it and looked after it which you can see from the folder of receipts.
