How easy are these to fit and how do you know which one you need I/E regarding relays etc?

Hi Skid,

I really must change the front page, I only make the 3 relay loom now! It's the best all round. It's £57 posted to your door and signed for. It comes with a full set of illustrated fitting instructions and a fitting kit (4 or 5 tywraps).

As for fitting, I think any one who is able to do a little bit should be able to fit the loom. The hardest part is getting the connectors on the back of the headlight. If you can remove the headlights it's a doddle really. Try and get some wd40 or something like on the 3 screws that hold the lights a few days before.

If you live near I'll fit it for the price of the postage!

Hope that helps

Zak

Just seen the Aberdeen location, looks like you'll be fitting it!!!

Thanks for the reply Zak.

I have a new replacement loom sitting about that i bought about 10 years ago for my G60 raddo.

I didn't need it as the loom was already upgraded.

I don't know if that loom is suitable for my VR6 95 model, but if i do remember rightly the loom i had needed heaps of work to fit it.

I might be better just buying a new loom from you :)

What voltage come through as standard to the bulbs and what comes through with the new loom fitted?

Just fitted my loom, can't sing Zak's praises enough. Really good quality, fast delivery and pretty much a doddle to fit. Can even tell the difference already in the daylight! Definitely highly recommended for all Corrado owners.

Got the loom fitted which was straight forward with Zak's instructions.

Had an issue with the existing wiring but Zak(on the end of the phone) helped us diagnose and eventually solve the problem.

The difference between new and old is literally like night and day. They are now easily as bright as my everyday Audi A4's lights.

Can't recommend this upgrade highly enough.

Oh, I'm blushing.

Thanks guys. I do these for a bit of spending money and for the love, lol.

Skid,

You would need the lights connected and turned on to do an on-load voltage test. Not easy on a C. However, I have seen as low as 9v on a Mk2 Golf! The new loom will give you battery voltage as that is where it gets it's power. You may see upto 14v. Cool eh?.

My loom involves NO cutting of wires (please never cut wires) and as just stated is easy enough to fit.

If you would like one, please could you let me know before Monday as I'm ordering some parts. That goes out to anyone else who would be interested.

Cheers

Zak

Ah, i did voltage check with out the lights being connected and was getting 11.5v with battery sitting at 12.5v

I will have to rig it up again with the lights connected and on.
