  1. Not sure if that was directed at my dock or not. Are you intereseted in one? Alex I am yes. If the price is right ;)
  2. Got the Laserline 996 Dip switch settings on t'internet. Here they are.... Las996-993p2.jpg[/attachment:2qbghh2d]
  3. Found an old thread from Mr. Cheesewire describing the same thing. The metal pedal stop had bent over the years. Bent it back, all ok now. Pedal high no more! :salute:
  4. Looking good. You could start making them and sell them on here. ;)
  5. Anyone got the DIP switch settings for the 996? My mechanic was getting p1ssed off with the alarm auto-arming while he was working on the car. So he flicked them all to Zero. Still arms, beeps etc. But the locking pulse isn't long enough now to roll up the windows and close the sunroof fully.
  6. Pulled the under-dash trim off. Similar to the fault was8v linked to, my the pedal is coming right up and stopping on the metal frame of the pedal box. With the trim on, it stops on the back of the little plastic shelf under the steering column. boostmonkey thanks for the offer. Could you take a look at your setup and tell me if there is a plastic stop or something normally on the frame where I've described. Drove the car again at lunchtime and gear-change is fine.
  7. :) coolrado we must both have been on the ETKA site at once! Yeah the diagram's a little cluttered there.
  8. Ok got a diagram from Vagcat.com. was8v can you see the part you are describing on the diagram?
  9. Anyone got an ETKA diagram of the clutch pedal assembly so I can see what I'm looking for?
  10. Ok thanks, I'll take a look. Hopefully I didn't hoover it up at the weekend :?
  11. Here! Those are exactly the shoes I was wearing! How did you know   Drove the car into work this morning. Gear change is fine, but something must be wrong for the pedal to sit so high! :? :?
  12. Hi, Just a quick question. Jumped in the car (95' VR Rado) tonight and noticed the clutch pedal was sitting waaaay up. Like there is only just enough room for me to fit my foot in between the pedal and the tray under the steering wheel. As it's pitch black outside and absolutely teeming down with rain I didn't look at it any further. Drove the 2 miles home and gear change seemed ok. Obviously something is on it's way out though. Can someone tell me what this could be please? Is it ok to keep driving the car for a week until someone can look at it? (only do 100miles a week)
  13. :D How could you not trust that face! :D
  14. www.car2water.com Check it out. Can't say I'm full of confidence in this!
  15. Tidy, I just won the auction. £31 for the lot plus postage. I'll tape the lights tonight in the meantime. Need to get GB branded plates or a gay sticker too. :D (Wonder If I'd get away with my "D" marked German show plates? )
  16. Just had a look on E-Bay and spotted a set of European Headlights and Rear Cluster to comply with European Regulations. http://tinyurl.com/6cxbzt What's the problem with UK Rear Clusters?? Worried even more now as I have In-Pro smoked rears and don't fancy paying to replace them!
  17. Yeah, got that one on the first day! :) They never heard of Tufty or the Green Cross Code Man here :) Between the pedestrians, random cars pulling out from the right, folk changing lanes without indicating and all the damn potholes on the roads I have to drive like a granny everywhere I go! AND petrol is more expensive here than in the UK. Yes, you heard that right MORE expensive! Beer's cheap though! :drinking:
  18. Getting my windscreen replaced this week (hopefully). Has a nasty crack in the driver's line of sight and I wanted it replaced anyway as the last time it was done it wasn't fitted properly and water dipped in above the rear-view mirror. Thing is, I'm in Belgium so the replacement is being done by a local firm who likely won't speak much English. http://www.autoglassclinic.be/ I tried to explain to them that I need a new piece of trim ordered for the outside of the Windscreen, not sure the message got through though. There's a VW dealership near me so I want to order the trim from them just to be safe. It should be the same for LHD/RHD. Can someone give me the part number of the trim please. Anything else I should replace while the screen is out?? (Really hope this doesn't turn into the nightmare other folk have had in the UK) :?
  19. I'm currently working in Belgium and my Corrado has come with me. Gets quite a few looks over here. 8) I've got used to driving on the "wrong" side of the road and read up on some of the strange traffic laws here. (giving way to folk pulling out from side streets onto major roads for instance) One thing that does worry me are my headlights. I know that European Corrados have a different beam pattern shining the lights in a different direction. Don't want to end up in bother with the Belgique Plods. Can I adjust the lights manually? Replace the lenses? Or get some special tape to change the beam? Would prefer not to change the lenses if possible (expensive & fiddly job.)
  20. Don't forget the link pipe too!! Part No: 7364575. Doesn't come with the valve and will need replaced too! Cost me a return trip to Ford.
  21. Mine was all dosed up too after my car being in storage for 2 years. Never was that good to begin with but I'd managed to cobble it back together with some duct tape. New one from Ford £53 with the link pipe. 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfSPAREPHOTOS037.jpg[/attachment:2zi1vafk] SPAREPHOTOS034.jpg[/attachment:2zi1vafk]
  22. Nice one Jamie. The VR's awoken and she's not happy coz this thing is dosed! Mike
  23. The Revell Diecast ones have only been recently released and are readily available. L100PY_H Is refering to the proper Revell model kits that were available a few years ago. These have now been discontinued. I managed to get 1:24 scale Corrado G60 and "Zender" Cabrio kits on E-bay a while back. Cost me a fortune.
