Buy a diecast one and customise it then. There are loads of Forum Members doing it. There's a 20 page thread on it here.... http://tinyurl.com/2rghdy

Andy Brookes's Satin Silver VR6, its last journey...boohoo
MikeVR6 replied to Andy Brookes's topic in Members Gallery
I would be genuinely heartbroken if this happened to my C. You have my sympathies Andy. Especially after all the love you have poured into this Corrado. -
I think the Revell kits have been deleted now. Maybe they'll do another run since the new Diecast models have been selling well?

Looking good. Glad to see my old yoke is being looked after! :)

My old 16v, which was a full UK spec car, had adjustable headlight. BelfastFumanchu has the car now. PM him and see if he can get a part no. for you.

JSB Racing Shiftlight kit - Pre-order for next batch

I'll have one once my wallet's recovered from Christmas. :) -
Hi guys, I've got an M Reg VR6. I'm looking for a well priced Supercharger Kit for it and spotted this one for sale:- I'm not sure whether my VR is ODB1 or 2. It has a coilpack ignition system rather than the earlier dizzy cap model. It also has an ODB diagnostics plug, but I think all VRs have that anyway. Someone please help. Money is burning a hole in my pocket! :-P

Prise off the cover with all the markings on it. There's four star headed screws behind it. Remove them and carefully wiggle the enter unit out of the dash. It's a little awkward and not helped by the fact the cables are attached to the back of the panel. Once you can see the back of the panel, have a look at the cables and make sure none of them are floating around without the little metal clips holding them to the back of the panel. There's a photo guide to fixing these somewhere. Just use the search and you'll find loads of similar posts.
-
Hard to tell without taking the panel out and checking the back of it. Sometimes it's just a matter of replacing the bowden cables. Usually though, the plastic clips that hold the cables in place have shattered and a replacement panel is required.

Just spotted a post on the CCGB Yahoo Group about this. A chap is trying to gather enough registrations to negotiate a discount on fuel with one of the big retailers. It's free to register and he's aiming for a 5-7p discount per litre. http://www.pipelinecard.org More info here...... http://tinyurl.com/g62yp

Here's Adam's guide for all and sundry to download. It'll save him having to mail it to everyone! (hope this is ok Adam?)

I'm going travelling for a year in two weeks. Got a nice clean, dry shed lined up for storing the VR6 until next November. I'm going to give her two coats of Swissol shield wax before she goes away. One of my friends has agreed to take her for a short drive every few weeks to keep the cobwebs at bay. (no shortage of volunteers!) :) I'll be keeping the tax and insurance up to date, he's going to take her through MOT in January too. Just wondered if anyone had any tips on storing her? Can I treat the interior with anything to keep mildew away?

Here's some instructions...

Nice one Gerroid. 8) Welcome aboard! :)

I found this thread quite helpful when I was fitting mine... http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewto ... 43&start=0 TBH though they are a complete arse and I've just bought another Corrado that needs a roof. Not looking forward to fitting this one! Remove the roof panel when trying to get the motor in sync, it makes it a lot easier.

Paid around £70 each for them on E-Bay. Unfortunatley they're not in production anymore, so I had no choice. Schabak in Germany still make diecast models though if anyone's interested. Perhaps we should petition Revell en-mass to do another production run?
-
And don't even ask about this one! ;)
-
Has anyone built these before? Think I might buy some other kit's first to practice on!

Send his Mum a "sorry for your loss" card and a bullet?

Better still, get a few banner's made up. Put one in his garden and scatter the rest around his area. Make sure you put his name on them. "X Is a Paedophile!" Alternatively, go round to his house and face him like a man. The snivelling coward will probably turn to jelly and pay to fix it. A real man would never do that to someone's property!

Damn things! Unfortunately this 16v is a '92 with the older interior and sunroof mechanism. Thus, there is no manual operation :( I'll have a fiddle with the alignment later, weather permitting. In the meantime, I found this guide on the Net.

Yup, there must be something similar to the permanent Live that runs to the back of your stereo to keep the radio presets. I'll pull the clocks out and check the wiring on the multiplug.

All the fuses are fine. I wish it was that simple! :)
