No Pete. That was the same mistake I made. This is for a B4 SOLID roof. I'll look out the part # for the glass roof and post back.
-
I think so. Either in the boot of the car or the garage. Let me look over the weekend. Like I said in the Ad, make sure it's the same profile as the one on the car. I made that mistake.

"Drive of My Life" - keep us posted if you find out the broadcast dates. Sounds like an interesting series even without the Corrado. http://realscreen.com/2016/04/20/travel-channel-gears-up-for-drive-of-my-life/

Still here. The engine's had circa 7k miles now since the rebuild and still going strong. I'm no engine expert but iirc Vince said the longer valves (we're talking fractions of mm here) were colliding with the pistons, stopping them going to full stroke and feeding back to the conrods.

Ultimately, it's worth what someone is willing to pay. You've a young Family, your duty to them is to get the most you can for the next Family Car or Holiday or whatever. It would be nice if an Enthusiast purchased it but you need to recoup your investment. List it on eBay with loads of pix, a good Reserve and the note that it is advertised elsewhere so you reserve the right to end the Auction.

I'll take them at that. PM me and we can sort out the details. Plus P&P of course.

I'm not sure you can swap the Corrado motor for a Mk3 Golf one. I think a B3 Passat one fits though. P.S. Have you joined --- The Corrado Storm Register on Facebook? -

Great write up. It should be Pinned! -
Great news. Glad it has stayed with an Enthusiast! :)

PM sent. Deffo interested.

Not too far from Ballyhack and Belmont then, where I grew up. Have you seen a Red MK2 Golf 20vt in the neighbourhood? Home for Xmas, in the Passat B6 family wagon and plenty of room for parts on the drive back. Already picking up, headlights, wings, roof strips, badges. I think I could squeeze in a set of rims. Maybe without the rubber though.
-
Might be interested Mucker. Can you post close ups of the individual rims? Where abouts are you in town?

Looking really good! -
Just find it through the Search. Click "Join" and Dazza will approve you in a couple of minutes. Then post some pics! :)
-
I'd better ask, or Dazza will shout at me. Have you joined the "Corrado Storm Owners" Facebook Group? :)

Nothing wrong with being picky :) You don't want to be getting a respray every few years! How long did it take the shop to do? I would probably leave the car there for a few months. Don't like rushing people and I don't drive her much this time of year. Yours looked really clean beforehand. Mine is fairly good, but has a little patch of bubbling around the filler cap and some more around the front arches. I have two secondhand wings to replace. Thinking about fitting a Transporter Wing Vent too. But blowing hot and cold on that. Not sure how much air feed it really provides and I don't want to spoil the looks of a rare car.
