Mate just get it HPI'd to confirm your thoughts.... There are signs that can be found on a car of high miles but these CAN be hidden... a HPI will confirm if it has been clocked or not... simple.
-
I sold one of these about 12 months ago with 36k on the clock for £350....
-
117k miles...

Try it and find out - it will wipe the floor with the VR6 unless the VR has some trick goodies under the bonnet... the Coupe is actually built very well and dont rust either as they have galvanised panels!!! :-P

Yup the Fiat Coupe 20V Turbo is an animal and will upset many a VR6 owner.... until it gets to the corners that is

Still trying to work out how to put mine on.... already bought it so might as well stick it on.

That was going to be mine but the distance was too much  -
Well its the only fault code generated on the VAGCOM - I have cleaned the contacts up and reset the fault codes and got the all clear again. Car is running fine now - will be giving it a full service before I put her up for sale. Cheers Scott

I've got that problem on mine too. It means your MAF is in it's death throws (hard to start by any chance?). The engine should still run without it, it'll just be pretty rough. The MAF's are £300+ from VAG, £150ish from Bosch tho apparently. Nope the car is purring mate and starts like it normally does (3rd crank of engine)... I have taken MAF plug off and there is some white alkaline substance in there.... :? I am going to strip it all down on Sat and clean it up and reset the fault codes - if it still comes straight up after reset then obviously new MAF time.
-
 OMG! (runs off to sit down)
-
How much for new MAF (thinking worst here)
-
Where is the wiring for the MAF mate?
-
Whats damage for new one? ECU relay with a MAF fault code?
-
Ok - just taken the Vr out for another run and it cut out... Plugged in VAGCOM and get this: 00553 - Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70) 29-10 - short to ground - intermittent Can anyone tell me what this means? Bentley?
-
Well someone ring it up and find out :D

Update... Now just starts and goes a mile or so then cuts out... she is going to take it to the car park where she meeting her bike instructor and call the RAC out to take it home for me... I have told her on no circumstances to let the RAC f**k with it...
-
How did I know someone would mention petrol :-P :-P Plenty of fuel in it as checked last night actually.... I have no problem with my bird driving the car - she knows full well if anything happened to the Corrado she wouldnt live much longer  But seriously she takes more pride in the VR than I do....
-
Just got off the phone from my other half who was on the way to take her bike test... the Corrado has died...  Apparently was driving fine.... started kangaroo'ing (her words) then cut out and died.... wont start now apparently. So she has abandoned the car to get to her test on time... and will be calling the RAC out - I cannot do anything as am 60 miles away at work  Any diagnosis tips? Scott.
