ALL the time... Whenever the lights are on the fogs are on... its an effective way of getting people to move over on the motorway  Had Corrados for 6yrs now and never had one with a cracked Fog light...
-
If you get the late fogs you will also need the late bumper.... I am surprised you got the bumper to sit right on it to be honest as later Corrados had slighty wider wings :?:

I thought image was a bit low yeah considering the GTV got 5.... But no sports car is practical now is it?

£3k is not bad at all considering what some decent VR's are going for... but I have seen dogs go for £2k... If the car is excellent nick apart from the faults he states (make sure you take the VR6 buying guide with you!!!) then £3k is not a bad price... But start him off low and work up ;) -

The set the maximum you want to pay for it using the ebay proxy bid!!! Thats what I did.... that way you pay enough to win it but at the cheapest possible price  -
Yeah thats basically it Matt... A skilled mechanic can tell from doing this test if the pressure is leaking through the rings / valve guides or gasket...

Just keep bidding on ebay.... I had same delimma 2 yrs ago.... the guy wanted £4500 to pull it off ebay (this was when they were going for £6k plus) so I said no... I just kept bidding and got the car for £3400  Reserve is met at £1850 so anything could happen! Went down and collected the VR6... not regretted it since. I had a couple of jobs to do but with a smashed Corrado on the driveway it wasnt too difficult to butcher some parts before the insurance company came and took it away  - Cost me about £250 to fix mine ... now valued at £6k  Cheers Scott -
Phone up the mileage register through HPI and get them to give you what they have on record...
-
You shouldnt crank the throttle either until the guage stops going up - that gives false readings... With fuel fuse and relay out: - crank engine over with throttle WIDE open so that it turns over four times - take reading do same for all cylinders and record values. You can then compare the figures. But yes a leakdown test woulld be better although trying to find a garage to do it is a joke
-
Yup - GIVE US THE INFO!!!
-
No.2 seems very low.... anything above 160 is considered to be ok but its more important the figures are similar... I assume you did the compression test accurately?
-
APC just done some for me at £22....
