I guess it would depend on how the car is driven mate - people who poodle round in their diesels will have carbonned up the cylinders, etc so it would be beneficial for them to use 10k boost... where as I pretty much nail the diesel in every gear.... therefore the engine should be nice and clean   Going to give it a go and mark everything so can return to how it was if needed.... not looking forward to shortening the actutator rod though... really hope it doesnt snap

£7k   time to sell up me thinks...
-
Well I am thinking to tighten the car up a bit about doing them all - worth it or not? I need new shocks really but they are going to have to wait for a while yet... but the originals are not leaking or anything
-
I have read it mate - very useful - doesnt actually say what bits I need though.... GSF have: Top mount bearing Top Mount Top Mount Kit :?: I am assuming I need the kit per side for front? - £11 + VAT  cheap! What about rear? - worth doing? Bump stops?
-
Seeing as the mounts look cheap - do I replace ALL of them? Or just do the front? I am assuming the rears will be a no go because of the passive rear steering effect? Can anyone help? Cheers

Just been out to trial fit my new GSF Grill spoiler (which fits A1 by the way) and found that one of my front top mounts (pass side) looks like it has collapsed.... :x How difficult to replace?

Well my thinking is that seeing as its unlikely I will sell the VR6 in the short term I might as well try different cars for work.... I am impressed with this Pug 306 though... great car to drive - just need some cyclone alloys for it and I'll be happy

  Defo a 'she' in my book - but it could just be her 'flap' opening up in excitement

Mine is a 1995 / M reg. Yup the handling will go all to pot if the tyres are not A1 and have 33 psi front / 35 psi rear... Brakes are usually very good - probably down to warping them - fluid overheated? I actually drove about half a dozen before I bought mine and as soon as I drove it I knew it was spot on... Will take it up to about 140k miles (115k now) then trade it in for a newer one or possibly a VW Passat TDi... we'll see. Scott.

She does do 650 miles to £40 of diesel..... I did probably pay top money for the Pug though - am not sure... but it came with 98k miles, FSH and 1 owner from new... mechanically A1 with some minor scratches on the paint in genesis met blue but its extremely tidy and a nice looking car... paid £1500 from a trader... Certainly doesnt hang about and corners very well...

Its a car for work mate..... 15k miles in 4 four months with nothing replaced other than tyres and no problems shows its a good car... :-P

Arse... really dont want a smoke screen out of the back... Is this because you are upping the fuelling pre-turbo.... I assume this is too do with the main fuelling feed rather than the boost compensator?
