Err, no you'll need the Corrado G60 coolant it - Samco number TCS121/C

Don't whatever you do use dry coarse paper! You'll ruin them with coarse scratches. Suggest you strip the lacquer off with careful application of Nitomours paint stripper. Then use 600 wet or dry paper, moving up to finer grades, finishing with a good metal polish. The only downside to all this will be that you will not be able to relacquer the rim as it will be too smooth for lacquer to key to it. You'll just have to keep the wheels clean and give the outer rim a reasonably regular polish with the metal polish. Will look great though :D

I'm sure this is in the archives? This is caused by a faulty heater blower resistor pack. You an either get a new pack from GSF, or if you're handy with a soldering iron, replace the faulty resistor. The pack is on the side of the heater blower assembly under the glovebox/under dash shelf on the passenger side. A DIY job :)

It will be cheaper and easier to buy a chain filter removal tool mate. If you take it to a garage what will they replace the broken filter base with?
-
Oh dear Neil! For an oil & filter change I do the following: Drain the oil from the sump. Then place an oil collecting vessel under the oil filter housing and remove the small metal drain plug with an allen key. This drain plug is for the oil filter. By draining the oil out of the filter before removing it saves you getting oil all over your hand/down your arm when you take the filter out! Before attempting to remove the black plastic base of the oil filter you should REPLACE the metal filter drain plug! It will reinforce the whole structure. Use a 36mm socket or 36mm hex spanner to remove the plastic filter base. Replace the filter and filter rubber seal! Let me know if you struggle to get a new plastic base. I have a complete oil filter housing for a VR available if you need it. Asim

:!: All the bolts holding a split rim together make them plenty strong enough. A correctly assembled splity will not leak either. Where are you planning on driving yours that requires them to be welded up then?! -
Its been there for 5 years, 'bout time you took it off then!
-
All red mate. Interesting choice of sticker in the rear window :!:
-
Nice one Rodders, looks fantastic. How you going to use it? For showing/weekends?
-
How cool?? That's a bloody rare find. 8) Wot no split rims mate :( You going to Ed 38 in this then? Look forward to seeing it if you are.
-

Very nice 8) What width of wheel are you hoping to fit under them then? -
Pure class Gareth, you got taste dude 8)

To reinforce, sounds like a regas is required. You need to investigate why though, as one of the pipes/connectors etc may be damaged or corroded.
-
Damn fine motor car Tom. Standard bhp? Knowing you I doubt it  Hope to see you at Ed 38? Regs Asim

That's a fact with all air con systems on all cars. IMO it's minimal losses.
-
You like the wiper??
-
Looking fine mate!
-
Last time I asked Keith about this he said it would cost between 1000-1200 to fit air con from scratch.
-
Absolutely back up what Bruno has said. I was put onto Keith by Guy, and he's superb at sorting the Diavia set up. Thoroughly sorted my system out 2 years ago and it's still going strong.

Whats the fastest you have ever been in your Corrado?

Bear in mind the C's speedo isn't all that accurate. I'm running 205/40/17 tyres which are a bit taller than the OE 205/50/15, so that should make the speedo under-read a touch. I have a Origin B2 (GPS) which shows that my speedo is over-reading by 4-5 mph on the 17s. Clearly this over-read will be more on the correct 15s.... Still, I've had an indicated 157mph in mine chasing vr6dom down the M40  -
Thinking of selling the RS's for 16's

Mint RS's with tyres do pass the 3 figure territory Kev. Trouble is trying to find a mint set!! I run my 17s on the psi outlined on the b-pillar, by the door strike pin.
