  1. Hopefully by the end of this month. I'll be in touch as soon as they land.
  2. The competitions are 8" wide too, so rubbing problems likely given the ET.
  3. I bought mine second hand, but were only on the previous car for 500 miles :D Halfords or Motorsport wheels are the best place to get them Storm 2. Or occasionally on ebay.
  4. Nope the Octavia is Golf IV based. And is 5/100.
  5. Good thanks Neil. IMO H&Rs are better than Konis  Big down side to H&Rs - cost a bomb. Lifetime warranty. You'll have to shop around Koni dealers for prices. You've missed the best time to buy them cheap - GTI International.
  6. If you want the suspension for years it's a no brainer - get the Konis and the Full guarentee piece of mind!
  7. Nah mate, it won't fit on the console. The unit really needs to be on a flat and stable surface otherwise the Origin will keep popping off the contacts on the mounting and cut out. As vr6corrado says, either mount it were we have, or by the A pillar, or down in that cubbie hole (best place) assuming you don't have aux instruments.
  8. Yeap, you can hardwire the Origin - so no messy wire to cigarette lighter. You can hardwire pretty much all the other devices too to be fair. Radar retector IMO is a waste of time. Hardly anyone uses radar anymore - laser is the main device, and gatsos are obviously on the gps database.
  9. I'll second the Origin B2 recommendation. A very discreet setup as you can mount the main unit anywhere. Great bit of kit.
  10. Gareth, get onto: http://www.mytyres.co.uk Looking at 80 odd each for reasonable tyres, 90+ for high quality or: http://search.ebay.co.uk/205-40-17_W0QQ ... propertyZ1 Some good deals? HTH
  11. Worth calling Dubsport and seeing what they suggest? Drastic I know, but sit the car on axle stands and send the suspension back to them? Assuming you have another car you can use.
  12. Ray, if they are Kongsports you should have no probs getting them replaced as the dampers are Koni. Who supplied them? Assuming they're an authorised dealer they'll sort it for you.
  13. Either that or everyone is missing a trick with the 720s
  14. Paul, car looks stunning! The grille looks familiar  Agree the RS's would look great on it - as would the Porsche dog leg split rims like on G60Renshaw's Well done mate, definitely worth all that effort 8)
  15. Had GSD2 F1s on my Speedlines (a distant memory!) and was very happy with them.
  16. Look closely at the pictures and you can see that lenses are far too matt to be OE. Unless he used to wash them with a brilo pad
  17. New clip. Trip to stealer for new offending item I'm afraid. Hopefully pennies...
  18. They've been sprayed with red lacquer mate. He's obviously trying to flog them on as originals which they are not.
  19. Presumably the other end of the hose is a standard fit? And the hose isn't too long for the Corrado?
  20. Mike, did you use the brake hose off the 312 set up or the original VR6 item?
  21. My personal experiences of Sony haven't been that good. I'd say you're better off with Pioneer, Alpine and Panasonic. You'll be able to get a CD/MP3 with Pioneer/Panasonic from 110 quid upwards.
