Trying to sort out my naff idle... no matter what i do the isv will only idle crap.... ive set it correctly, blue temp sender out, revved 3 times adjusted then revved 3 times agsain but still it has the ruff idle... The isv is buzzing but it is also pulsing every 0.5 seconds or so like a pulse... is this normal. Everything else has been checked, has a new BTS aswell... Another thing that may cause it could be the idle switch maybe??

The car is moonlight blue so not quite there yet... On first impressions it looks very similar to yours hence why my girlfriend couldnt work out how i had somehow managed to get my car onto the showground without driving it... LOL :) .. still i suppose we have both got good taste in wheels....

i ve got 215/35/16" Contis on my RSs and the stretch is not that bad...

yeah i am gonna get some of the thinner polished hex caps.... looks like i am gonna get some from the fatherland for £60 a set! not bad, just ran out of money towards the end... not a major issue at the moment as i have a few other things i am wanna sort out first like the ride height.. all the same they completely change the look of the car i nearly creamed myself when i first put them on... :oops: They are also quite a bit lighter than my D90s aswell.... which helps. :)

yeah will do mate! gonna get the back arches rolled and pulled first tho... little bit of scrubbage action going on at the moment there 9s on the back with an ET19... it will sit lower i just havent had chance to lower it that little bit more since ED38 when the car was fully loaded... :D Bally your car looked fricken awesome @ Ed38! i was trying to look around for ya but everytime i went over to your car no one was there to talk to... 8)

Yeah my ebay kit came with a blue and white wire, which i am guessing is positive and negative... Whereabout did you wire you positive and negative wires into?

could just be your waterpump making that noise! i had a very similar noise coming from mine when the pump was shagged.. i thought it was the charger aswell but turned out to be the waterpump....

how did you wire it in? i am yet to recieve any instructions yet.... where did you wire in the blue and white wires??

thats the kit i have! although i am not sure if i have any room on my dash, as i already have a air/fuel gauge in there! i am sure i will figure something out! cheers for the piccies flusted!

i must admit i did feel a bit of a copycat with the choice of wheel and the fact i was colour coding them... 8) still its not as if you live up the road from me is it...lol

16" BBS RS 145 / 146 - Porsche fitment been refurbing them for a few weeks now! Darren was telling me about the ones you went up to buy the other week! advertised as 15" but they where 16" ! lucky git! 4 stud aswell... 8)

Has anyone got any reccomendations for the best sealant to use when assembling the bbs split rims back together, i have some silcone sealant... is this sufficent? Did have some marine grade sikaflex but has dryed up inside tube :roll: Would rather keep away from ordering of the net as i need this stuff pretty quick and if the silicone stuff i have is ok then i will use that... just wondering what experience people had with different products.

just thought could this be the rear engine mounts sagging? i have a solid front mount but i dont know the last time the rear and gearbox mount was done....

This is doing my head in now!! i ve pretty much checked everything! there is no play in any part of the front end!! yet i still get this bloody noise!! Its occuring every revolution of the wheel, its not a constant sound but a rub per revolution.... i had thought it may be the bearings but surely the noise would be more constant... Had it jacked up and couldnt hear anything... it only happens when car is on all four wheels, it seems to do it more now when accelerating in a straight line and accelerating when turning left , this is all at low speeds... it doesnt happen at higher speeds..
