Cool ;) -
Fair does, you'd think it would be a simple job! I had an E36 Beemer years back with a similar failure, although the first I knew was turned the engine off at the petrol pumps, took the key out, started filling up and realised the engine was still running!! Lol

What was the symptoms with your car before the fix?

I fitted my blue tint, convex mirrors yesterday. I'm really pleased with the view out of them and the look. I was annoyed at the fitting though as the two spade connectors on the back are in the wrong place, so I had to cut holes in my plastic backing plates to get access to them. Aside from that, all is good - let's see how long the glue holds out for! lol

My blue tint mirror glasses arrived today so got them fitted. I'm pleased with the end result although was a little annoyed that the two spade connections for the wires are in the wrong place for the backing plates, so had to cut holes in mine which was a bit of a faff! Anyway, they're on now and visibility is certainly much better. Excuse the rubbish pic! lol

Welcome to the forum Tom I'm not that close to you (Stamford) but help organise combined meets between MK1 and MK2 Golf Owners Clubs. We tend to do the auto jumble at Newark on a Sunday morning, plus have a pub meet at The Woodcocks, Lincoln. We've just had one a couple of weeks back, but will post up the next one if you're up for the meet - I wont be the only Corrado then! lol Cheers Andy PS - We need to see pics of your car now! -
You could try these guys - http://www.torquepartz.com/ - they're the Phoenix from the ashes of Justmatz

Sorry mate, I've paid to take that one already -
I can't say that pink is my colour but tidy work there, looks a good finish. The wheel nuts needs a lick of paint though or nut covers ;)

I just checked the thread again on the MK2 Golf OC, it's a T5 module that does it as an upgrade on the Golf so assume it would be the same for the C?? This link may not work without you being registered? - http://www.vwgolfmk2.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=22029&p=253291&hilit=one+touch+windows#p253291

Already sold the crystals!! I live with original for a while, maybe will go red one day - it does look good with white.
-
Must be a tease having to wait to get it back on the road!
-
That explains it then - stupid kids!! LOL
-
Thanks for the info ;)
-
Yes, nice scuttle cover ;)
-
You like white then! I like the red rear lights on yours, just put standard back on mine to replace the crystal ones.

Not sure on that one to be honest. With my one-touch not working to put the driver's window back up, does that mean the module that controls it will be at fault, or the switch itself?
