  1. Couple years back evo 6s were around 6-7k and now there going for a grand or2 more Those were gust the standard gsr Out of your price range (low side) but the octavia VRS have been stuck at 2k for a ok one But if I had that money on a family car an old RS6 and have enough left to sort the suspension and turbos V8 twin turbo
  2. Yes the quote bit has the vr 02a diffs The second ones are the mk5 gti
  3. See below discount structure for the 02Q Diff’s and ARP Bolt Kits; · 1-5 Diffs with ARP Bolts - £899.59 each including VAT · 6-10 Diffs with ARP Bolts - £852.24 each including VAT · 11+ Diffs with ARP Bolts - £804.90 each including VAT Normal RRP on this would be £946.93 including VAT The above two structures for now to get it up and running then we can get the prices amended closer to the time Just put a note that 5-10 people we will be paying sub £700 with the full fitting kit arp bolts gasket and bearings as the exchange rate may change
  4. Would you mind starting the group buy thread Then I can redirect rest of the forums to it as I want enough to get price down low
  5. Yup and regal sell it for £170 and would give 5% max
  6. The full fitting kit with gasket and bearings etc I can get shipped over less than £145 without any discounts how is everyone's thoughts to putting the order in May/June
  7. No problem bud, gave me something to do I've got good friends who could possibly do group buys on numerous bits like suspension kits bushes tyres alloys etc
  8. I checked duty for them to be shipped over at $800 and guessed $50 shipping and got the end cost Of- I'm seeing best way the warranty could work without it being a PITA
  9. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=331194878579 I know it's a golf I think but I'm not a fan Furthest I'd go is the us spec bumpers or the kit similar to the golf a59
  10. Oh basically what I ment was if you can get the engine ecu etc cheap enough by the time you sell all the bits you don't need you will only would have paid for the labour
  11. 24v conversion Swap in a 2.8 24v from a low mileage golf 4motion with a mapped ecu you will see minimum 220 bhp/ftlbs torque from a standard engine with shed load more torque down low Depends where you want to go with it in the long run I paid £300 for the engine gear box ecu wiring loom and after a sold what I didn't use old engine etc I was up £50 but I did it myself
  12. Ask stealth to use the steel head gasket to bump up compression which in its self will give bit more torque all over Or save your money and go 24v, better base unit
  13. For the o2q mk5 gti fwd 1-5 Diffs with ARP Bolts - £899.59 each including VAT · 6-10 Diffs with ARP Bolts - £852.24 each including VAT · 11+ Diffs with ARP Bolts - £804.90 each including VAT The problem I now have is I had coupl Vauxhall ones to get which are only available through regal
  14. Least your cars are worth that lol unlike mine There are enough going turbo and r32 imo and should get the numbers up I've got a standard 2.8 and feel the urgent need for one The second hand quaife fetched good money other week
  15. Your easily pleased lol I'm trying for £ 650
  16. Here is one uk based so full warranty etc I'm sure price could possibly be worked on a little more I hope. For this, we can offer the below discount structure based on a single purchase of a quantity of the LSD’s with ARP Bolt Kits; · 1-5 Diffs with ARP Bolts - £765.90 each including VAT · 6-10 Diffs with ARP Bolts - £725.58 each including VAT · 11+ Diffs with ARP Bolts - £685.28 each including VAT I'm aware the mk5 gti is not on there and will be as might have some others too
  17. Well can we start to compile a list as I'm hoping to get a better price on 15+ including the mk5 ed30 one Just to put it out there shall we work with a time frame of May/June??? Then hopefully we get the numbers And in the summer for those doing the swap outside lol I've asked about a single shipment on a pallet but then a single payment is required We can also have them sent individually (£10.80)and everyone pays the company The fitting kit from regal seems to make sense unless someone can suggest a better option or get the extra bit cheaper?
  18. You can use the old vr6 down pipe with an bit of pipe welded mind the extra flexi as mine is temporary too My manifolds are same as the mk4 r32/4motion The mk5 r32 manifolds are different
  19. Update I managed to do the camber to-1.5 But in doing so there little more toe in I'm happy with it still no tram lining
  20. http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_postsm.asp?TID=100789 Half way down shows what to look out for in choosing speakers
  21. What he said To get little more mid bass/bass from up front seal up the doors and use a little sound deadening will help
  22. I had some budget part worn tyres on temporarily and noticed they made it sound like I had a bad wheel bearing on back Anyways got new tyres on back now and it's quiet and I don't mind the exhaust now stupidly it sounds lik a r32 on full chat
  23. Little update for info It's possible to use a late sharan vr6 ecu 98> but (nothing's straight forward) as the sharan has secondary air injection and EGR you will need them coded out or installed I got stealth to remove the immobilser and take out 5% fuel and it ran perfect besides having the sai and egr faults which I didn't know prior so there is no lambda control still I managed 120miles on 1/4 tank Local short runs was bit pooh but always is Getting there slowly
  24. Back on topic chap from vr6oc has got more info if anyone is interested
  25. And new sensor on this morning fitted Started car, drove steady to petrol station Felt bit slow as no sudden bits of torque nor any dips in torque Well it works a treat Next mission is to get the obd2 golf vr6 ecu to recognise the later style cam sensor and phase wheel
