paint isnt that great to be fair but it will do me until next year! im very proud of what ive done tho! my door solenoid kit came with two poppers and they work well. they dont fling the door out, just pops it enough to clear the lock ill try to get pics of the washer jets at weekend, they arent properly secured yet but they work well. cheers for the kind words big tartan judge

yea the rear number plate is covered in 3m carbon wrap, need to do it again though. kempy it was lower but i thought id raise it up for the winter. But saying that i think i will drop it back down if there is a nice day for it on a weekend

right bout time i put some pics up of it now its back on the road.Im not overly happy about the paint work but thats cos im anal when it comes to that. Its way better than before but not quite my standard so i shall be redoing it myself next year :D putting the door card back on trying to get that fiddly door pin through the card!
-
looking sharp!, where did u get the sound proofing from? i need to do my doors too
-
did you polish that by hand? bloody hell must have taken ages if you did. You should get a metal polishing kit for a drill with the appropriate compounds. You can easily get a mirror finish if you wanted
-
im getting seriously bored of my corrado now so thinking of selling up. Quite fancy something rear wheel drive and the 200 sx came to mind (s14a shape) anyone owned one? opinions?
-
Yea i was gunna do that. It really doesnt look that bad but i will fiddle until its right

Im going to be using mk4 golf washer jets that mount under the bonnet edge. Dan the wipers are from a lupo. Need to change the blades but havent got round to it. Ill try to get some pics of the wrapped bits. The grille still looks cool but the number plate holder is lifting where it has the recessed part. Its like its too taught and the glue couldnt hold it. Ill have to save up for some and give it another go

ive been saying to myself i shall clean and wax them every weekend lol but if i get lazy the crappy winter rims will be going on haha
-
got the rims on at last but need to lower it down on the coilovers now
-
you have been making good progress my man. I Will be going for a "proper spray job" on mine next year with any luck. just havent had the time to work on it recently!
-
managed to test out the door popper click on image
-
i bought them seats except mine have a silver carbon effect centre. only paid 140 them off ebay. I randomly have some subframes from a mk3 polo but it needs some chopping about to fit! hopefully get mine installed in a couple weeks time
-
sorry to hijack the thread. but how do you get the auto lock feature to work? ive deffinatly got it turned on as an option but the doors will only lock on the first turn of the ignition not when the car is running
-
damn were they fk coilies? i remember striping mine down and the adjusters cracked apart! it does look pretty cool slammed that low
-
more little bits doing whilst the car is away had a little bit of the carbon stuff left over so i did the grill too. The piece i had wasnt quite long enough so i had to join two pieces together at the middle. you can really notice it though as for the wheels ive started to paint inbetween the spokes matt black. I think it looks better plus a bonus as the brake dust wont show up as much lol
-
haha no worries.as long as it works thats the main thing! im going to move my door popper button to the triangular trim just behind the mirror. my switches seem to be a bit big for the mirror
-
thanks for the heads up swift kid thats something ill definatly look into! rams what is making the dor pop when its locked? perhaps a solution could be to use a relay off one of the imobiliser circuits on the alarm? that way the solenoid would only become active once the imob is off
-
What about the indicators? They would flash red?
-
cheers mate, it was suprisingly easy to work into the corners! as for the lights im not sure if it would would work as ive got the inpro lights , so i dont have the little blocks where the reverse light goes - the whole section is the reverse ight if that makes any sense?
-
that looks great, i used mer rubber cleaner on mine and they came out like new! they are quite easy to come out. the end at the front slides back and then you can lift it. the rear end is clipped down and can just pop up.
-
got busy covering the number plate plinth in 3m carbon wrap, cheers dan!!! pics
-
thanx for the comment coullstar! I havent even got round to the wiring lol. Does ur alarm trigger the central locking?if so once those locks are down pressin the solenoid button wont make a difference. So do your doors open nicely i was thinking i may need to use a spring to push the door out once the solenoid button is pressed so it clears the latch

Im driving in east london at the moment. Just went down a road called chiswell street, pulled up to the lights that face fisbury square. When you look at the green man there is an extra box next to it that has a timer to let pedestrians know how long they have to get across the road. Thought that was quite clever, never seen any thing like it
