  1. Irwin bolt removers will get them out, you may have to pop the strut out for enough clearance though. Recently had to do it myself. Can't remember the Allen size off the top of my head, although I do know that a standard hex head won't do as a socket won't go on because of the abs sensor.
  2. Has to be the air ride! I can finally get on the drive!
  3. Struan, Can we call it £Twenty quid delivered for the charger flange? (Paypal gift) Can you manage a quick piccy? and what size hose does it take? Neil.
  4. Today consisted of: Empty gearbox oil and replace with redline mt90. Remove knackered tint from rear window. Adjust power steering belt, no more slipping.
  5. Slight off topic sorry but... Would they be worth a visit for me you reckon Kip? How do you think they would get on with the low ride height/slightly stretched tyres etc?
  6. Sounds spot on. Sorry I've not been back sooner Gary, been really ill (Still am!) I'll pm you my email address. Neil.
  7. Hi mate, how much posted for the drivers side? (You can see what I paid for the passenger side above) ;-) Also, pics and in good working order? I mean, you don't have to pull a long way before it latches?
  8. May now require a Drivers side door handle! :camp: It has the repair kit, but I now have to pull it all the way before it latches! Will try and have a look at it, but may well need one. Thread was originally to acquire the passenger side one.
  9. Just thought of another that I'd be interested to know the whereabouts of! My Mums old one, it was absolutely IMMACULATE! around 50k miles I think, but forget that...The condition was superb! She sold it for near on £3K! :bonk: Red 1800 valver G119RBV (G119 RBV)
  10. Sod you lot, I want em! :-( :bonk: In fact in all seriousness if I could arrange my own courier? If that would be cool with you then put me down as third? in line. lol. Neil.
  11. Ah bloody hell that's a shame! Nice to hear it's still going though cheers mate!
  12. Ah, tis a shame you're down't south...I love collecting bits like this for the 'One day' restoration, but I struggle to find time to get anywhere these days. Edit: Beaten to it! Oh all the doors are very nearly the same by the way, just the none central locking ones are different. Aye that's what got me wondering, Presumed they must be new old stock, but started having silly thoughts about someone starting to produce pattern panels
  13. Damn! Shame you are so far away :-( Part numbers on them? Genuine Vw? Neil.
  14. OK. First up, I'd be interested to find the whereabouts of my old valver... Tornado red LY3D 1.8 16v - H468TEO (H468 TEO) Just because when I bought it for £225 quid, it was a bit of a heap! But I saved it and sold it on just because I wanted the G60 back on the road. Kinda wish I'd kept it! There's a topic here just incase >> http://www.volksdevil.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=230 Secondly... I'm only the third owner of the G60, and I've been trying to find the very first owner. A Mr Hudson. It seems he didn't own it for long. I've owned it for 8 years now and I'd love to see if he has any old paperwork etc, long shot I know. Late style gloss black LO41 1992 G60 J443ORP (J443 ORP) If Dyfrig (Previous owner) sees this, it would be great if he could help. When I bought it... How it looks now...
  15. Check this thread Pete > http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?77216-side-skirts-whatcha-got Some good options there. Neil.
  16. Sorry, I should clarify, the speed nuts are just new zinc plated ones but all the screws are stainless (Ebay for those) Thought I should get some as I've got stainless bolts for all the slam panel/wings/headlights etc. Wonder if you can get stainless speed nuts? Never thought to look! lol. Aye I can imagine, they run close enough to the standard calipers with new pads in! Cheers guys, too kind.:thumbleft: Neil.
  17. Gained a squeal on turning the steering, hopefully I can nip up the power steering belt. I did replace it not long back though
  18. Handle arrived many thanks Mark. Neil.
  19. Looks good mate:thumbleft: Be sure to let us know how it goes! I've just been searching for the old 'Carbon parts' threads but I can never get the search to work properly so may as well post here...Searching ebay I came across this seller and looking at his feedback, maybe worth a shot for those wanting a group buy of carbon bits? Neil.
  20. I think, and don't quote me on this as it's a long while since I messed with mine...But I think you access it from engine bay, sticking your arm down towards the bumper grill.
  21. Edit: Ah, found pics in my members motors thread... Where it sits in the lower front bumper (drivers side) Pic of the plug/sensor And the sensor.
  22. If the outside temp isn't showing it means the sensor is broke/missing. The sensor is located in the front bumper/drivers side if I remember rightly (I moved mine into my air box lol) It's like a plastic lump sat in a plug.
