dont know if you guys already know this or not,but ill say it anyway! :D any boss kits from the later mk1 cabs, with the bigger steering shaft sleeve will fit the corrado :D i found out today when i thought id try the momo millenium wheel from my sportline, and it fit! no problemo! feels much better 8)
-
yes! :D 8) its my first corrado and im lovin it. neil.
-
best way m8 8) a kr lump was the first ever engine i worked on,easy peasy :D
-
full service. replace all temp/fan senders and switches and lambda. replace engine mounts. swap all interior to black. fit the konigsports and drop it on its a$$. buy samco hose kits. buy new plastic water flange for head. new rocker gasket. colour code front and rear vw badges. find a black tinted rear side window to replace blue one :? sort the intermittent spoiler. boost return mod. front mount i/c. i think ill stop now,its looking expensive... erm, polish, polish, polish!

I think they might be Audi A8 wheels... :?: porsche 928? silver rose/design 90's? dunno,hard to tell. :)

i got a storm kit for £65 delivered off ebay. great kit in every way,the sweep, the speed, the linkage! 8) just need to trim the blade to get it to sit lower,or maybe park it at the passenger side. neil. :thumbleft:
-
so i sent the other single wiper back, and fitted a storm one today. much better! 8) straight on,no messing or having to bend the linkage, and the sweep is fantastic,it works and is fast too! just need to trim the blade or use a diffarent one to get it to sit lower,or i may try parking it at the passenger side... couple latest pics too :D neil. edit:sorry i cant attatch more pics for some reason? my current background cant wait to lower/uprate the suspension
-
i actually got mixed up  tis the evo 4 i like 8) clicky for picky and again, air pic although looking back at the evo 3 pics,i can still appreciate em,most important thing to me would be finding the mintest for the money :)
-
lot of conflicting talk about the diffarent manifolds, supposedly your better off with the smaller one for more torque, and torque is the reason a lot a people go for the 9a/abf 2.0's. id be asking a garage to do the above check if im on the right lines, can anyone confirm? :D neil.

alright m8. :D it may be the valve stem seals in the head,a pretty normal thing to go on the kr lumps. may also be the piston rings, but cant say ive heard of many that are worn even at 150k miles! i think you can test for where the problem is,by hooking up an air line to one of the cylinders(via a spark plug hole),when you put air in (with engine at tdc i think?)... you then check for where the air is leaking out, either the exhaust if stem seals have gone,or through the crank breather if piston rings have gone... if it is the rings dont worry its not as big a job as you may think :D cost of a head gasket set, rings which are £37 from gsf i think... and the engine oil/sump gasket etc... good idea to buy a honing tool too, only cheap and it should be used really... neil. :)

can anyone shed any light? :)
-
Henny, beat me to it :salute: :thumbleft: ps:ive got some fk konigsports on the way,ill let you guys know what it think to em,gotta be better than avo's from what ive heard anyway. :D neil.

you can just go for shorter/lower springs on your original shocks as a cheap option,id say you shouldnt go for anything lower than 35mm on original shocks though due to the piston not being shorter to compensate. then theres the uprated shocks/springs,normally 30% uprated damping/stiffness,and a choice of drops,25mm,30mm,35mm,40mm,etc... if your running big/wide rims you may have problems catching the arches, and you have no adjustment for the height or stiffness,so you would be stuck with the set up. height adjustable coilovers give the obvious height adjustment and are normally around 30% stiffer/uprated damping. height and damping adjustable, same as above but you can stiffen/soften the ride. then theres the above plus rebound which alters the speed that the shocks settle back to position, only really needed for the track. neil. :)

ill have a black or red one please 8)

v nice motor,id rather have a mistsi evo 3 than a new subaru 8) neil.

cheers m8,ill be looking tommorow for definate, watched my embarrasing local footy team on bb1 today  its only the speed that operates the spoiler aint it? rpm or nothing comes into it? neil. :D

 aye,i hold my hands up m8,ya got me! hehe,9x14's on a corrado!?!?! 8) afraid the mk1 projects off,A7770VL wont be back :( mk2 goin alright??? neil.
-
yeah no probs m8 :D the postal service aint the best round here either, there always on strike! aye,not 100% on the d 90's as yet but ive got some konigsports coming for it,so ill decide weather to keep them or not once its dropped like in the pic, they are growing on me though 8) neil.
-
may be some sort of breather for the fuel tank? neil.
-
when is it more noisy m8? a whoosh letting off the throttle? dont think running a catch tank rather than a filter willmake any difference... neil.
-
thanks again m8 8) im looking to do this after ive sorted a couple other things... neil.
-
