Cheers m8,whats involved with the polo ignition switch swap? first time ive heard about it. :) Been a while since doing one, couldn't think whether or not the barrel needed a hole drilling...Will probably get a new splined adapter too. Neil.
-
Good work Rob,glad the results show 8)
-
Aye...is it an ar$ehole of a job?
-
You need a non silicone based ptfe,as silicone will kill the lambda probe. Its available from the usual charger rebuild places. 8) Neil.
-
Think mines knocking slightly...whats involved in replacing it? Done it on golfs before, same idea? Neil. :)
-
I cant believe it myself how quickly you have got the products Leon! seriously, thats rediculous! Neil.
-
Aye,as above...the meguiars nxt metal polysh would be fine if you enjoy polishing the wheels (and it will protect to an extent, which is fine for most) but you cant beat using a specific wax alongside...Its just made for the job,and will prolong the protection period of the megs nxt. Neil. just_say_meth,love that bubblegum  tis nice stuff.

Steve, order is being processed for you :D Just awaiting new stock of the black corrado bonnet bra's...they have been flying out at the intro prices  The site states a 2 week lead time, but it will be before this.Feel free to email me at any time through the contact page on the site if you need an update/advice etc... :) What name was that under DanG60? :) Neil.

Leccy roof and windows?

Looks alright :D Just missing the leather though...it was an option not to have it! In fact, never been keen on vw leather anyway tbh :!:
-
I asked for that one

For mirror polished wheels, the megs nxt all metal polysh and smartwax rimwax or similar will polish and protect as they contain wax. Autosol is a near pure polish and quite a harsh one (in mirror polished terms) so will bring up very dull items to a 'decent' finish but not a true mirror finish. Autoglym metal polish is slightly less harsh than the above. Alu-belgom does actually contain 'hard waxes' but they dont perform like a pure wax as its more of a cleaner than a polish. just_say_meth,have you been tempted to eat the rimwax yet?  smells mint! Neil. :)

Thats just the 'buying new bits' bug  Will still look after it best i can until it goes...giving it another full service soon, and probably all new discs/pads all the way round. Neil. :)
-
Well...ive decided its going as soon as i find my new car which will take quite a while for sure :( Keeping it until then...so treated it to new pressed eu plates (front not fitted yet)
-
Yep,looks like its fitted correctly 8) I wouldnt advise having it fitted for more than 7 days at a time (although people do with no problems) its just good to at least remove it to wash the car fully, and also wash/rinse the bra. You can supposedly wash the car with it fitted, best to fully remove it though really. Neil. :)

Ive done a little how to somewhere, where the pin that holds the cog in is replaced by a nut/bolt...will find it shortly. Its held with a pin as standard, that needs pushing out from inside the heater box,but it may just prise off (the cog) if the three prongs are snapped. Neil.
