Help, i'm tepmted to sell my corrado!!!
Blue_Joe replied to matt_corradovr6's topic in General Car Chat
According to people I know that have owned them, tehy are surprisingly lifeless unless you have you foot welded to the floor and only then do they become fun. Do as Phil K says and Charge your VR or go one better and go see Kevhaywire's mambers gallery and follow his lead and Turbo it (along with a 3.1 block!) Then you'll have a FAR FAR FAR more enjoyable car! -
TBH - I've suprised myself, I haven't moped about with it at all, just as you said straight into "lets get it sorted and lookig better mode"!

Ok As most will know my car was ran into causing damage including the bonnet. I have managed to source a new bonnet at a cracking price, but it's in Fareham (near Portsmouth!!) I don't really want to organise a courier as it'll get damaged. So I was wondering if we can sort a little bit of a chain starting in Fareham to get it to meet me somewhere while being handled with care like I know us all on here will!!! So can anyone help me get it towards Birmingham????? Thanks Sam

Thanks for the comments guys! I'll get it sorted! Think I've found a bonnet already! Does anyone live near fareham that could collect for me! Then I can start to arrange getting it to me!

Well - Just got back to a very brief journey to the petrol station! Got 30 secs down my road, went to turn left into a single lane road (but not one way!) doing about 10mph if that. It's a blind bend as there is a building on the corner. Coming the other way was a fiesta with 2 guys in the car. They were going too fast to be approching the corner as it was. I stopped. They skidded into me. :( Nothing too major than kfully. I'll need a new set of indicators and fogs. New Rieger bumper. New bonnet. Well I wanted it resprayed anyway!!!! Can you all keep a lookout for an good condition early bonnet as they aren't available new anymore!!!! Also might be a good opportunity to get in-pro fogs for nowt on the insurance!!!!! Gutted though!!! Bet you it ends up a 50/50 claim!

Get a big pot of silica gel - like you get the mini satchets in parcels and leave that in your car for a few nights
-
Oooooooo Saw roll bar special offer and got toooo excited! But for VR only. Probably a good thing anyway.
-
But due to the big accident he had it left him with no muscles left in his face IIRC so you can't really comment one that!!
-
Foose ALL the way!!! Mike left Boyd and now does work for Foose! Same as the spryer at Boyds that was brilliant also now works for Foose. His work is stunning!

Where did you order yours from fella???
-
The age old "Which shall I buy!" I would say buy a G60 as they are so Raw and Tunable. But in honesty you have to assess what you are buying it for. If it's an everyday car doing reasonable mileage then really I'd have to say the VR (coming from a G60 Mentalist  !!!!) But if its a fun occasional car then get a G60 and TUNE IT!!!!

Or why not try and see if you can get a secondhand one from one of the cars being broken for parts on here. Check the for sale section!

That'd be me then included in this group as mine is only a weekend car!! My "love" of punctuation is to accentuate the confusion as to whether I was correct that it was the question! Perhaps not overly obvious as I thought. Still unsure as to how this comes across as "beyond rude". If I was implying shouting then I would use block capitals! But perhaps you should be a little more careful with your comments as I perhaps should be with my "punctuation" Now I think this should really be end of matter as this is someone else Gallery Thread!!

try reading"??????????????????" some of your posts are beyond even rude, and your keys seem to stick a lot of the time  Golf looks very nice mate, but a touch on the C, especially after the money you've just pumped into him/her. try levering out some of the shiney bits of the Golf, and shoe horn them into the C 8) Apologies if this was deemed as Rude but I Don't see where I've been rude here or in any other instances! Just stating the obvious! The Golf is very nice and I cna see why it was bought! But this is a Corrado Forum, so my point being that it will be a slightly biased opinion!!!!!! And your comment is a bit rich really isn't it! (pot, kettle etc!)

I'm not asking anyone what I should do..... I've sold my Audi and purchased Golf... I'm just not sure about the Corrado???... Love it to bits but i'm just rearly using it.. I will always need a Diesel for economy....[/quote:467e3] I don't understand what your not sure about then????? The only question I can see here is whether you should keep it or not, bearing in mind you bought the Golf. If that is the question I refer you to my above answer!!!!!!
-
So your asking the CORRADO Forum whether you should keep or sell a Corrado....................................?????? Hmmm Wonder what answer you'll get to that question

Konigsports are dampening adjustable!

Very cool! But I like the one Mrbeige has done as it's more of a traditional shift light that looks OE. Yet it's bright enought to see without concentrating on it!!!

These are the in-pro ones are currently in the throws of organising a Group Buy on!

Ok Part you need is 535 941 297 You'll need 2 of them! -
They tend to fit only VW anyway. Last window I had fitted by Autowindscreens had the VW Logo scribbled out on the box as officially they are not a VW service dealer but its the only place to get it from apparently!
