unfortunately that's all the details its got on it. But they are a generic item. Why are you changing yours? Let me know how you get on.

If you type diavia air con dryer into Google, there is a company that does diavia webasto products. The front is off my car so if you need a part number I can take a picture
-
My nearside one is in bits. Its the later type and says 001-141 095-01

I'm tempted to try a different FCM just to see.....
-
I can understand the principle of that. I'll Have to try it this weekend. It just seems there are differences. .. and the car actually was running okay without the auxillary pump working! !
-
Hmm good point. The fans were coming on and off during the engine running. Perhaps it wasn't hot enough. ... I'll have to try that over the weekend. But reading back on here I'm thinking it's going to be the FCM. The next problem with that is my car has the diavia aircon, so will need to check I have a normal FCM and not some weird one added on.

So this is what the insides of an auxillary pump is. Means nothing to me as it can not be repaired. Great price for a new one on the link b4 and received within a few days. Only a steady hours job and fitted. Feeling good as when i switch the ignition on I can now hear a whirring, fantastic. Switch the ignition off and NOTHING. I can understand with it being cold not over running, so warmed the car up so that my fans are coming on. Switched the car off and still NOTHING. No whirring over run when hot so I think I now too need to look deeper into it !! Bloody Corrado's, just when you change something and feel good about it, you realise it isn't quite right and needs more sorting. I suppose that's part of the challenge.

I had quite a large gap between the lower dash area and the centre console. Couldn't for the life of me close it up. Then noticed the gear stick section part that goes up to the dash had actually moved back from its correct position. Loosened the 2 10mm nuts, pushed her back, tightened and now looks better. Just a thought

I'll check mine tomorrow. ... I think it went okay!!
-
They are stunning
-
Let us know how you go on. Mine needs a bloody miracle
-
I think its on his build thread!

Vaghag has just done his on here. My polo way is only good if you can get hold of that part. But I liked it
-
Half way there. Well done
-
Can't help you with that. The vr only had a plug in the back. ..Sorry

all from the polo

I sourced replacements from a 95 plate polo. Is better material fits perfect and does not disintegrate. The polo centre vent foam Fits a corrado outer vents and all the box flaps were the same. I've yet to find an oe part for the corrado centre vent. Going to look at a mk3 golf one.

Does your car have air con?
-
Sorry. I'm still learning about the highs and lows of corrado ownership. I took my door off yesterday and found lots of problems (low)but got my front bumper back from the painters today and on its powder coated mountings its put a smile on my face (high point). If you get the time refurb your heater box flaps whilst you've got it out, as they will be perished. Won't take long and you won't need to take the dash out again. Plus it's stops you getting those little black pieces of foam blown out into your face. Just a thought, but highly recommended by others too
-
It will all be out, repaired and back in tomorrow. Unfortunately I've learnt there always another bloody problem.
-
Ha ha. One on each end of the dashboard. Should be behind a circular cover trim. There is also a nut low down at the back of the centre console at floor level. As well as removing all of your switches, wiring clips, speedo, surrounds and trim. It does come out relatively easy. Sounds worse than it is. ..But there are some good right ups with pictures about.
-
There are 2 nuts that need undoing with a 10mm spanner or socket. Difficult to gain access but it is do-able. A ratchet ring spanner is really useful. With the bonnet lifted, look at the windscreen lower plastic trim.it is in 3 pieces. Where it joins each piece (about 1/3 way) get your hand under that scuttle area feeling upwards. You will find one nut fixing on each side. Good luck. And there's still more inside the vehicle
-
Did you get the sneaky two from below the windscreen area. ..10mm spanner and in line with the joints on the lower plastic trim
-
Sorry I can't help anymore. This is a later model one I've pictured
-
Is there a small black plastic cover with a white arrow on yours? If so move it 90°and you'll see its covering the Allen key manual release fitting
