Clifford aren't factory fitted
-
Just wondering if you could disconnect your alarm, somehow remove a fuse and see if that allows it to open correctly. .. worth a try. Or contact the person who fitted the alarm and see if it sounds like that could be a problem.... only costs a phone call
-
[emoji106] thanks for the info and recommendation. One on order
-
Glad you got it refurbed. A little satisfaction is always great
-
Seems strange it does it when you lock the car. Do you have an aftermarket alarm that would close everything b4?
-
Its your corrado. Don't get rid, just repair. .... its an easy fix
-
Thought as much. Thanks

Should this brown looking clip on the threaded plastic part be right up to the end to stop slack movement? Just taken my covers off and noticed it. Doesn't look right to me. ..
-
Ignore my missing trim comment. ....I've seen it now. Should have gone to specsavers!
-
I changed my scuttle seal last week. Got it from heritage and followed the wiki on here. Relatively easy. Looking at your picture, have you removed the end part of the windscreen lower scuttle trim? As this helps deflect water away from the scuttle motor cover area. Whilst doing this its a great time to clear all the old rotted leaf products and the drain hole that goes through the inner wing. Not an expensive job even if it isn't this that's leaking

Finally tested mine. No noise and no power. Found the 5A fuse blown on the fan control module. I now have power there, so this must be it's control, but unfortunately my pump is dead. Where have people got theirs from?? Gutted another expenditure b4 its even roadworthy..

The known corrado bleeding nightmare... I've changed mine and after 4 times pressure bleeding it all, the pedal travel is still rubbish. I look forward to knowing how you sort it
-
Try not to lose heart. At least you've found the issue and can look at sorting it. I'm trying not to think about taking the sledge hammer to it as at times my corrado gets close. .. Good luck in sorting it
-
Good luck changing the rear sensors. Mine were a right pig to get out. I did change the abs rings whilst doing this as they weren't much more money. Peace of mind as I knew I'd changed everything that could be problematic. And your car looks great
-
Yes mate, Removed it and bent it. Also with a little gentle heat from a blow torch to assist. It didn't need much
-
It doesn't seem to have the mardy clicky problems of my 2 previous corrado ones!! For me the mk3 is a better unit, still working fine, all the bolt holes and cog line up. If you have a rectangular wiring plug, it's a direct plug in. Result. Just make sure the motor is tried and tested in the correct position of your roof panel b4 fitting

Still working. The lubing was brilliant but only after I'd bent the spring mechanism. I had tried bending the channel but that causes other problems.
-
I can look at one I used for spares tomorrow. I only used a centre cog and a fixing from it, so that should be there
-
If you want an extra pair of hands Saturday morning im happy to call over. I've had my dash out twice this year. Getting used to it now
-
I've just done mine. Swapped everything over from a P plate polo heaterbox as everything fit perfectly and its a better foam. I did put some pictures up. Quick, easy, work's and all genuine
-
Ditto... but I did replace mine from heritage and fitted it this week. I wondered if it was to offer some support around the hole of the tow eye. But it doesn't seem to.

I'll take it please. It can sit in my garage, just in case. And I'll collect if ok
