As I'm slowly putting things back together I've found these wires just below the glove box. I believe it's part of the diavia air con !! Any help advice very much appreciated

There's definitely a circuit board inside with 5 prongs sticking out for the electrical plug to connect onto. .. You do need a new one. Mine too had been tampered with. When I got it working the damn thing wouldn't go off... finally cured. Good luck with the switch. There are plenty about. Try and match the part number on it, but i don't think that matters. also try asking lillfuzzer on here. He's super helpful and seems to have everything

I found it was only the bulb in mine that was faulty. Pence from a car spares shop. Soldered in and works again. As for the clips, I swapped some from an old vw polo switch that had the same ones and also epoxy glued them in. Sound difficult but was surprisingly an easy repair. Just a thought

Where exactly do they fit!? It looks like they are just pushed up out of the way... my car does have air con so is that why they are just left hanging!!

Apologies as I'm finally getting my trim back in and don't know what some bits are/fit. Its an electrical connection of some sort on a 95 vr6 but I don't know what it does or how it should fit? Its at floor level behind the centre console!!

On another positive note, I've refurbished the corrado outer vent flaps. (The bits that shut off the air supply) Taking them apart is easy and again i used the parts from the P plate polo. Take the polo CENTRE vent flaps out, carefully pull the foam from around this and transplant it over to the corrado outer flaps. No cutting required. Really easy, minimal cost and time, no more pieces of sticky foam blowing out and it works. Result. All I need to do now is find something genuine for the large corrado centre vent flap.

They are in the group buy section. £24 I think I fitted mine yesterday. Fantastic product and better than the original you can't go wrong. If you read the first pages you will see the spec of it. And it's led. Totally brilliant.

I personally would say YES swap it over. They are better than the original. You could always keep that in a box. The lighting on my switch is far superior to the old one

I believe the best part of these speakers is that you don't have to chop out all the underside of the shelf support. I cut mine out to fit better speakers and now wished I hadn't, so going back to the Oem. The quality is probably better than the Nokia paper ones so that's a step forward. I don't need big speakers and amplifiers

Fitted my headlight switch today now that my dashboard is back in. 100% fantastic product. Brilliant piece of kit especially with the bulb symbol lighting up red when the ignition is on. My old one didn't. So very happy

I've destroyed a very long thin screwdriver. Fortunately my dash was out so I think I cheated with that. Interesting still to say the least. Hopefully I won't have to do it again! !
