Matt, I changed the fuel pump on mine but also added a 1 way valve just after it, as others have done as Fendervg says. That sorted my warm start issue. I dont know if it was the pump or the valve but it worked. For a tenner it was an easy one. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/131628033416?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=UTSXzBEVT-m&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=SuQ1hX6ZSQa&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY A sytec motorsport one off Ebay, 8mm. £15 !! Now. With a foot of pipe and 3 jubilee clips you dont need to cut the original pipe and it is reversible if you dont like it I'm jealous as I need the top end doing on my car 😇 Good luck anyway

It does look great. Nice to see the effort that has gone into making it so good. You can smile every time you see it 👍👍

335 it is now. I forgot to put on suspension and brakes. Hoping for September to get her out 🤞

Thanks Gents. Just done my quote which came in at 280 for 3k miles!! Seems acceptable, just need to be able to get it out of the garage 😂

Not done much forever with Karmann. I just keep starting her up and letting her get warm. I have refixed the drivers door moulding as for some strange reason it was hanging off. Who are people using for insurance? I need to get this done but have a schrick which online stuff does not recognise

👍👍 to standard everyday. Aftermarket lights look dated now. IMO

🤔, not a clue and I too have had the Corrado in many pieces.....😆

I changed mine at 120k when I had the axle off. They were heavily corroded. Where in the Midlands are you? I have a tool that I purchased last year for doing them on my mk2 golf and it worked a treat. Only works on pushing them in, you do need to cut and chisel the old ones out.

It's a shame that they haven't mentioned this engine as it will bebthe future of conversions. Keep us posted on the turbo set up, what a beast it will become

Bag up all of the fixings marking where they cone from. Mark the switch looms when disconnected. Do it methodically and it isn't as bad as you think. Make sure you get all the fixing locations. The ones behind the speedo at the top and the ones in the centre dash. Slow but sure. If you are doing the heater matrix, the bottom fixing in the bulkhead has normally seized Good luck

I used Nottingham Windscreens as they sourced and have done them b4. But it was new

Ooo that loom does look bad 😳

👍 look good. Not the easiest item to work on. Are you doing the sunroof panel too?
-
Always nice to get sorted. What condition are your membranes on the door cards?
-
Congratulations on getting the MOT. Always nice. 👍

Damn that does look nice. Did you know what leather to use or did they tell you?

The Official Corrado Campaign thread (where are they now)
Cressa replied to James.'s topic in General Car Chat
I've never seen the MOT website say that. Maybe it has never had an MOT since it all got computerised !! -
Well done in sorting this. Great result 👏
