I changed mine at 120k when I had the axle off. They were heavily corroded. Where in the Midlands are you? I have a tool that I purchased last year for doing them on my mk2 golf and it worked a treat. Only works on pushing them in, you do need to cut and chisel the old ones out.

Bag up all of the fixings marking where they cone from. Mark the switch looms when disconnected. Do it methodically and it isn't as bad as you think. Make sure you get all the fixing locations. The ones behind the speedo at the top and the ones in the centre dash. Slow but sure. If you are doing the heater matrix, the bottom fixing in the bulkhead has normally seized Good luck

I used Nottingham Windscreens as they sourced and have done them b4. But it was new
-
Ooo that loom does look bad 😳
-
👍 look good. Not the easiest item to work on. Are you doing the sunroof panel too?
-
Always nice to get sorted. What condition are your membranes on the door cards?
-
Congratulations on getting the MOT. Always nice. 👍

Damn that does look nice. Did you know what leather to use or did they tell you?

I've just looked in the Bentley manual and have only found the instrument cluster wiring for VR6. May be useful..... have a look

I've never seen the MOT website say that. Maybe it has never had an MOT since it all got computerised !! -
Well done in sorting this. Great result 👏

Great looking motor and price. Too much for me but I am sure someone will put it in their garage. I always enjoy an advert for a standard car and then read the tasteful modifications -
👌 Those wheels look fantastic, amazing work. I rate the g-technic products in keeping them easier to clean. Perhaps just have them In Your bedroom to look at . Great wheel porn 😄

Definitely looks a great engineered solution to the problem. We'll done in getting this far, fantastic work
-
Good luck with that mate. I've never been able to keep it the same no matter what I do, so it always ends up needing a trip for alignment. Gutted that mine is still blocked in the garage at such an important weekend
-
Your car does look super clean and nice 👌
-
Sorry, I totally forgot this weekend so shall look tonight. 99.99% sure the heated part only works with ignition on. The electric part of recaro, tilt and height work all of the time
-
I still have my notes in a book regarding this at home. Just on nights at the moment unfortunately
-
Doesn't look correct to my memory. I can have a look at the weekend as to where I put mine. Are you sure the seat pads do work anyway? Testing the resistance across the seat connections top and bottom will give you a low ohms resistance if all is okay.

Mot pass is always a great day. Enjoy having her back

Great purchase. 👍
