  1. The page numbers are an absolute ball ache. I think because it is impossible to navigate around the site, that is why it is so quiet. Real shame
  2. Welcome. That is a lovely looking interior, but I am jealous of what's bolted onto the side of the engine. I'm going to enjoy following this. Good luck
  3. Thanks everyone. I did find that and ordered 1, plus a spare.... And I ordered the cheap little rubber to fit in the end too. Which also fits under the handbrake too. Definitely not the weather to be in a cold Garage though
  4. Whist trawling classic parts I found this
  5. I don't suppose you can find the part number. I always like a delivery from Classic parts πŸ˜‡
  6. Boxing day, but let's not waste time. I swapped over the tailgate struts and I am happy with their power. A quick job that only left me with a missing circlip as it pinged off th the back of the garage into a pile of junk. I'd rather get a replacement than spend 3hrs looking through that mess. And I also found my tailgate popper was broken 😒 Very disappointed with that. The search begins..... so if anyone can help, please shout up πŸ‘
  7. I looked outside this morning, and Santa had not brought me your Campaign
  8. That car is a thing of beauty 😍
  9. Santa brought me some tailgate struts. I read somewhere these are possibly the oe supplier. They look the part anyway. Next job is to fit then, so I shall post up when done. I may still get the originals refurbished, which was my original plan
  10. I do love the look of leather and how easy it is to clean. I put some in my mk3 16v GTi years ago. Then hated cold mornings and hot days... They do finish a Corrado off nicely, especially when wired in and warmπŸ‘Œ
  11. That is one great looking motor . Even better that after nearly 5 years you put this up. Great registration too. I have a Vr, but it was a G60 that got me into wanting a Orrado
  12. We need to keep this Forum alive πŸ’ͺ. The information available on here is 2nd to none. I too am guilty of not posting enough as it's a pain to use still. But Have a great Christmas and enjoy your Corrado. Whether it's tucked up inside, or out being used. They are ours and great fun. I hope you have all have a nice Corrado present too
  13. Time away, but I do still check in. I have enjoyed having the Corrado constantly taxed and insured, so I can drive it when I feel like it. This last week she has been out for 4 days in horrible weather's. Bloody filthy but faultless and enjoyable driving surprisingly. Great fun I hope you are all well and looking forward to Christmas πŸŽ„. Take care people and keep enjoying your Corrado
  14. Everything fendervg said. I'd happily reuse those if well packed. What make of Bearing did you use? I used some rubbish ones initially, due to cost. I later swapped them for FAG I think, or the oem maker. The difference was instantly noticeable when driving. Good luck in narrowing it down
  15. Looks great. Are the handles genuine VW ones? I had a mk3 golf 16v years ago and found that VW did chrome ones for the convertible, so swapped them. They do feel better than plastic
  16. You've been busy. I like the little chrome touches. A work of art for the parcel shelf straps πŸ‘
  17. I had changed my leads and that's when I got the poor tickover issue. Originally I thought they were faulty, but maybe they just wanted a new coil pack to be happy πŸ˜‚ It is nice to have it running and starting, thankfully. That's an impressive length of ownership πŸ‘
  18. Changing my coilpack helped with a bad time I went through with my poor tickover. But could be a lot of other items...from cam sensor, crank sensor etc. When my car was warm, it became a pig to start. I put a one way valve at the pump, but did end up replacing my pump. I think they are tired at this age. That cured my starting issue, but pretty sure Matt on here did something else. It's a money pit, but still a lovely one. Good luck Cressa
  19. Can you post a pic of the filter that you need?
  20. All I can think is that we have alternatives and that's a good thing. Flow/pressure, bring it on. An increase in pressure will hopefully give an increase in flow and that's a good thing for the Corrado version. Good luck people. I changed mine and never had a warm start issue since thankfully
  21. Gutted for you that this is being such a pain. Mine did come in a Lucas box if I remember correctly and the seller did confirm it being 4 bar. Totally understand you deciding on the Vemo.
