Car: 2.0l 16v Exhaust: Magnex CAT back with Supersprint CAT bypass Opinion: Once it was fitted properly by Demon Tweeks, its superb. Lovely raspy sound to it, but NOT CHAV like at all. Subtle oval tailpipe. Very pleased, especially when you nail it and at around 4500rpm brings a smile to my face!!

I've got to say, I really like them. The idea seems to lead itself quite well to the Corrado shape. If I had a spare £700 I'd get them!! 8) 8)

Can anyone give me advice on how to flare the arches on my C? Cheers guys

Apparently AMD can get around this! In PVW last month, a guy wrote in saying that he had got AMD to bypass the whole immobiliser problem when he fitted a 20vT into a Mk2 Golf. Might be worth a phone call!

I changed my thermostat when replacing the water pump, and since then water temp has been hotter than it was before. I used VW thermostat and G12+, so I have a similar issue. Why would it run hotter? I can't offer any help, but safe to say that you may have a air lock in the system. I'd suggest the same as dr_mat, flush the system and get some G12+ in there and see what happens.

Cheers dude Looking forward to it being very shiny....

That was what I was thinking guys. Going to remove the side bump strips, rear badges and colour code door handles and rear number plate surround. Already had a quote for £1500 for the job, but I thought that was a bit steep as it didn't include the hatch or roof! Hopefully going to see a mates work collegue, who apparently lives off 'foreigners', and the indication is £700-800 quid, which I think is pretty damn good! And his work is said to be very good, so lets wait and see (fingers crossed!) To be fair anything will be an improvement on its current state!

Another pic off my phone...definately needs to come down at the front. I've got some JOM spring caps to go on! Going to have the bugger resprayed in the next month or so. Do I; Just get it sprayed and have all the dents/bumps/scraps removed/filled etc OR Change the colour as well? Any thoughts?

Bloke selling Aerial photos last night, whilst I was tightening the wheel bearings, said "Don't see many of them about..." as he glanced at the badge on the rear ...."is she quick?" to which I replied "not as quick as a VR6, but still quick enough". "Nice car" He said! hmmmm I thought..... chuftie!

Lookin good dude! 8) I've done that to mine, but have the LCD's red as well!!

Bally, I wish....its a mate of mines...£350 worth as well! (He nicked it from work!!) I think I need coilovers. Will I need height and damping adjustables, or would I get away with just uprated height adjustables? FK Konigsports? Highsports? or KW Varient 1 (uprated and height)

corradowales, bought them off the g-man for £350...mmmm 9"x16"s......schweeet Phil K, I was heating at the same time, probably not enough. It's not too bad, the first side I did is worse, but hey, you live and learn! it just gives me one more reason to get the respray done!!!! gradeAfailure, Cool...I'm not going to inters now...:(

Do not give up. A mate of mine was about to give up on a 2 year project, cos he'd had enough. I managed to persuade him otherwise! After all this effort you are going to throw in the towel? I don't think so, you can't be that fickle! Sort yourself out man! Seriously good motor you've got there just becuase of a few little niggles that pale in comparsion to the amount of stuff you have done, is putting you right off????? Come on.....if I had just a little bit of your vision to do what you've done I'd be happy! ITS WORTH IT!!!!! Lecture over..........:)
