  1. PMSL! Fluck me, I'm on the ball! :clown:
  2. WTF? I see nothing about Corrados....
  3. Just about to go with Brentacre on the Golf VR for Mrs B. I was with them when I had Badcrumble. They weren't the cheapest for a one off payment, Flux were cheaper by £20, but when you add the interest and charges to go direct debit, Brentacre were tops. To ba fair I do like talking to them, as they know what you're on about and always aim to please. Spoken to both John and Kerry, and in fact, the fact you know you'll be talking to the same person more than once, gives you a re warm feeling inside. Good customer service and not pushy....unlike Flux, who tried three times to make me go ahead with the quote there and then, rather than letting me decide.
  4. I agree, it is good money and the option to buy it back is good. The only thing I would make sure of is that you are buying back the complete car and not one that has had some of the goodies already taken off it. But, if at all possible try to reject the first offer, as I think in most cases they expect that really.
  5. Noooooooo neeeeeed dude. That's a total bummer! :( I might have the wing moulding that you can have, if that is of any use?
  6. Can you buy paint direct from VW in a rattle can? I used to use a company called Border Automotive in Shrewsbury for paint and they'd put it in a rattle can for you if required. Surely there must be somewhere like that in Winchester?
  7. Have you still got the pic? Yep :) http://upload.the-corrado.net/files/107 ... p2%27s.jpg You're so not wrong about those wheels, they look lovely on a red Corrado (note to self; buy some Comp2's) 8)
  8. Change the title of the topic dude, asking for someone local with VAG-com, as not everyone will read the thread itself :)
  9. Not feeling the wheels either, Joe, although I think I'd prefer them to green porsche wheels, deviant I do like the fact you are thinking different to the usual suspects though. Maybe a little more searching could be in order :)
  10. You seen their work before? Carleena wanted to know what a respray on her Golf (and one for Gooney) and I'd be interested to know their costs. Who does that kind of work for your company? I think you need a Wikipedia page then, as everything on there is fact too!
  11. There was a guy who did a wiki article on how to fit TT seats, I'm not sure if that is any help... TT Seat fitment
  12. You gonna go for a full respray then, Joe? Who you gonna get to do the paint?
  13. It's also possible that the slotted rings that the ABS sensor uses to determine the wheel speed could be full of cack/corrosion, the back ones especially, as they clip into the recess of the inside of the brake disc. It's worth taking them off and giving them a good rub down with a wire brush. As far as replacing the old sensors, they are a twat to remove and you'll likely destroy them in the process, but I suppose that doesn't matter if you are replacing them anyway. VAG-com is your friend though, so find someone local, willing and able to give you hand with that. :)
  14. Shhhhh, don't say that too loud  Glad it was a false alarm dude! 8) Mic IS the Mincing machine :fondle:
  15. No need dude! Well, at least it's under warranty. More of an inconvenience than anything else I suppose. :(
  16. Yup, full fitting and operating instructions :D
  17. Hmmm, I wonder whose that is :D Got any pics of the attention you've been giving the body? :camp:
  18. POR 15 do a rust 'killer', that's supposed to be very good.
  19. That was brilliant! I agree Schumacher defo isn't the stig, but fair play, I always thought he had no personality, but that just proved me wrong. Roll on next week :)
  20. You can only set the first and last LED, and then it determines the two mid points for the 2nd and 3rd LED in the software, but if you set the first at 3k and the last at 6k, then by definition the 2nd and 3rd would be at 4k and 5k respectively :) I still have a couple of guys outstanding who have paid deposits, but I'm contact them again this weekend to find out what they are doing. I will be making up the remaining 10 boards within the next week or two, so will definitely have them available then. I'll add you to the list now anyway :)
  21. Spoke to Dave today, he said that you were rather pleased with the work they'd done, can't say would have expected anything else :) You got any pics of the bay as it stands now? Dave said that the back of the bay seemed to shine (due to the shiney gearbox) 8)
