To be fair the Police should eb all over it, as she fled the scene. I've got to be honest I'm pretty disgusted they haven't done anything yet, you've even got a witness, so it's not just her word against yours. That sort of thing makes me :bad-words: Anyway, gutted for you matey, and if you are feeling discomfort following the accident, then you should definitely put a claim in, it's not as if it is fabricated, is it!

My Pearl Ghey 16v Gone :( - Introducing "Annie"

I did the head gasket on Mrs Badcrumble on a Saturday day. Never done a head gasket before, in fact it was the first major bit of mechanicing that I'd done. I took me 7 hours from start to finish (not that bad I thought). I was swapping the heads over, so need to get the head skimmed, but you could quite easily get hold of a KR head, with cams and kill to birds with one stone?? It really isn't a difficult job. If I can manage it, I'm sure your capable :dorky: -

Break it?? Don't be a fanny, a head gasket change can be done in a day, and will cost you chuff all......much cheaper than sticking an ABF in it! -
Number plate would be good for JBOB! Nice work though Rob, doesn't look too bad in those pics :)

My thoughts exactly!

I've just got this image....

Doooooo it, James! :vamp:

No need at all. But I guess the best thing is, given what looks like very good work so far, you know that it will be properly pukker once it's done! :salute:

"This is espresso, like the Corrado, one shot of it and it blows your head off"

Audi didn't want though, hence the Porsche badge, right?

Now that WOULD be interesting

To be fair, you would probably be better off fixing the blown head gasket and selling up, if you really want a VR. 8)

I love that shot! Awesome 8) Are they Mk1 Rivage wheels? -
Excellent work! One question, do you think this 'kit' could be adapted for Golf VR6s too?
-
I think body colour would look sweet 8)

Nice to see a stunning car from our French friends :)

And big massive Yep on that I really have to agree with that too. I ended up losing the whole car because I started something before having at least 95% of all the parts I'd need. To be fair, you just need to knuckle down to it. Any project will get you down at some point. I've got a mate who has been trying to get his 16vT built and running with MS for over a year now. He's got the patience of a saint, but it's really trying that saintly patience at the mo. Stick with it, and don't give up, as you'll only regret it (and that applies to my mate too! ;) )

Do it! In fact, stick a turbo on there instead, now that would be cool 8)

Not again! This thread is like a dictionary of names now! Lucy won't let me take the Rado on holiday so when I come to see you next month I'll be in the Celica rice box. Is Lucy your alter-ego? Looks good for a polish dude 8)

I have to agree with Walesy about the wheels, Jon :cuckoo: :pukeright: But the wind-deflectors ARE cool, and massively functional I can imagine! No rain coming in the window when your smoking ;) -

Sorry guys had a ridiculously busy month, so have been a bit slack. Also had issues with my PIC programmer, so had to source another, and the plugs that were on back order that arrived seemed to have gone awry. I've ordered some more that should be with me tomorrow. They are nearly there! I will require the balance before posting, but I'll let you know via PM once they are ready :) -
Have a word with CazzaVR, he runs one :)
