Aaaaargh, i was 99% going for that 530i until i spotted this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2003-BMW-330I-SPO ... 3ca8b2f4ca found out on a bmw forum that it was pushing out 340bhp and 332lb on 12psi, will see what its like tomorrow as still waaay to drung/hungover to drive today.
-
you with the AA mate
-
gonna also say a skoda, a 5 series estate for about 4.5k WILL cost you in spares. I really do miss my old skoda it was practical/comfy/bigger inside than a 5 series. mondeo's are good but very very boring. this looks like a good skoda http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... &logcode=p and the 2.0tdi can be chipped to about 190bhp easilly.

have you tried ARZ Tuning mate, pretty sure they still stock all the oe hard to fing bolts/screws etc, and i'm also pretty sure you can get the front centre consol bit new from them. karl

Engine Conversion. Places to go/costs. Advice?
KADVR6 replied to Bruceybaby's topic in Suppliers Forum
agree 100%, EMU's corrado is sorted with no running problems and its a very nice looking corrado, just change wheels/interior to make it more your car. sorted. -
try taking on a roundabout in an automatic RWD BM, the whole time the traction control was flashing, and the whole time the missus was swearing at me STOP DRIVING LIKE A T++T.
-
personally silver is just soooo bloody common on BM's that was the only colour i would not have again, and yeh in black they can look very moody?? and as for the extra's on this car?? get ready to take a deep breath before you read this lot  * Genuine 19" AC Schnitzer lightweight alloys (Staggered - front 19x8.5J, rear 19x9.5J) * Genuine AC Schnitzer mirrors (retain electrical movement & memory function) * M Sport multifunction steering wheel (stereo, handsfree phone & cruise control) * Full and unmarked black nappa leather. Driver's bolster is unworn. * ABS, Traction Control, Dynamic Stability Control * Servotronic steering * Xenon headlamps * Upgraded LED angel eyes * Brushed aluminium interior trim * High-gloss shadowline exterior trim * BMW SatNav head unit with BMW 6 CD changer * Communications Pack (Navigation, handsfree phone & television) * Cruise control * Dual climate control and air conditioning * Auto windscreen wipers (rain sensor) * Auto-dimming rear view mirror * Sun protection glass * Multi-function fully electric seats with 3 memory settings * Electric front and rear windows * Front and rear parking sensors (Park Distance Control) * Headlight washer jets * Passenger and side airbags, including rear doors and windscreen pillars. * Through Load System (folding rear seats) * 'M' door sills * Genuine M5 front mesh/grill * Factory alarm and immobiliser * On board computer (average MPG and speed, range, temperature, time, miles until next service) * Reverse gear auto mirror tilt * Full and complete first aid kit * Full and complete tool kit & warning triangle * Glovebox Torch * Genuine BMW overcarpets did warn ya.

echoing what other have said mate, get it sprayed as it looks like you have a few intrested parties, at least see what they are willing to pay for it as a whole car first. not going to say not break it as i'm doing the same thing, as i'm sure you did not rush into the descion

you seen this one mate http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2001-BMW-530i-Spo ... 2c517bfd61

i started looking at the 530d sport Jim, and yeh they are really really good cars, re-map will see about 235bhp with 520lb so its not slow, plus you will get about 35mpg around town easily. but i want petrol back in my life, and the sale of the corrado bits will get me a rotrex kit for the BM, that should get me a minimum of about 340bhp and about 320lb :D BUT i will 100% be back in a corrado in a few years, and IT WILL be left standard, balls to all the modding lark
-
yeh i saw that gareth, luckily i wont need to do any of that as the current owner owns he's own car valeting firm so its mint inside and out 8) and fla i paid 6k for it, not bad seeing the alloys are worth over 1k in there current state, they will be getting swapped though soon  cheers for the comments guys, and all i will say is its not a corrado to drive, and its nowhere near as exciting to drive as a corrado :( and i will get some interior pics up soon.
-
well i have got bored of diesel, just cant seem to get use to driving a car with a tractor engine so i'm going back to the fuel of angels :) went and looked at this on saturday and i'm totally smitten, easily as fast as a tuned N/A corrado vr6 but just soooo smooth and quiet, put a small deposit down as the gu will wait untl i sell my 330d tourer. and when i have finished stripping down the corrado all that money will be finding its way under the bonnet of this BM :D so here it is a BMW 5 series 530i sport, with every option fitted, the guy has the original bill of sale for it and it totals 48k

get the rear wiper off mate it really cleans up the rear, and get your photo degree out the loft, and get some good pics done ya slacker

What size Xmas tree can you fit in a Corrado?
KADVR6 replied to Bullfinch's topic in General Car Chat
plastic tree :pukeright: hate plastic trees with a passion, there like silicon tits, look great from a distance but when you touch them there just not right  -
just needs a proper engine in it si :norty:
-
i had one in my first corrado when i bought, the day after that i ripped it out and threw it away as i wanted the space for my fags. 2 days later i found out how much they cost :censored:
-
black
-
its more than a theory mate, i did various off cuts with different finishes to get the finish right.
-
when i re-dyed mine i was informed by the furniture clinic that vw leather is a matt finish, but rubbing the matt finish over time it goes semi gloss.

KADVR6 replied to marmite monster's topic in General Car Chat
£20 in my bmw will do about 170 miles, and it's got more power. just a shame its not a patch on the corrado to drive -
