Nice one Dan. Hope you land it, mate.

Update: Turned the punishment tables on my car and introduced it to a swift size 10 in the fuse box. Et voila... One working spoiler. :D (dodgy connection in there somewhere, then) Moral: If the car goes kaput, persuade it with your foot!

Mine does. :( Left it on the drive last week in fine working order, only to come back off me jollys last night to find the spoiler wont work and one of the bearings sounding like it's on the way out! I'm not asking for the dreaded spoiler help. Just saying it feels like my car's getting it's own back on me for being a bad Dad and leaving it 'locked out' for a week with no food or love. (Oh, and I didn't realise how much I'd miss the spoiler till it actually packed up)

Spotted Jeremy Clarkson on the Isle of Man

Managed to accidentaly trip Ryan Giggs up in a shop once. Didn't even realise it was him until I said Sorry mate. This was when he was knocking that Davinia bint off who used to live up the road from me Maybe I'd have gone in a bit harder if I'd recognised him beforehand. -
Oh, and Cai... Sorry to hear about the charger mate. Not a good end to the day, that. :( :( Couple of more pics of the day though.... Edit: Meant to put these in the other thread (posting while drunk again)

Saw a grey K reg northbound on the M6 this lunchtime (J33 ish). Dark haired dude driving with very 80's looking sunglasses  I was southbound and rubbernecking, but don't think he saw me. Anyone admitting to the shades??? 8) 8)

Watched Sundays Top Gear on tape last night. Was it an areodynamic thing, or just an air intake which grew out of the top of the Lambo Hammond was ragging round in?
-
Dizzy mechanism on the way out? Had exactly the same prob on an old astra once. Very intermittent, very annoying. Spent a fortune replacing all kinds, then a £20 dizzy from a scrappy sorted the lot. Worth a shot if you can get hold of one a cheap one.

There's someone on here with one of the (very) few Corrados in New Zealand. IIRC they were priced at bonkers money so are like rocking horse shibden over there. Seems odd someone would go to the trouble of importing one from there to here, were they are much more common.

Yep, but did Paul8v ask her THE question we all want answered? "What's goin on Lucy? You're super fit, but why no top-off action for us..? Ahhhh, is it cos, instead of raspberry ripples, you're actually blessed with twin nasty flakey tramp scabs, or is it that they just resemble the offspring from an unholy alliance between perriwinkle and cane-toad? [/frustrated rant off] -
Howdy Steve, Mad Axl and Claret Badger (top username, that) Hope you all enjoyin the forum. Get yer digi cameras out and bung us some pics!

D'ya know what... I'm sure there's exceptions, but most people I know are either into cars or footy. Never both. I never really got into footy either, just use watching Liverpool as an excuse to go the alehouse. :D

If you can afford it go for a G60 As much as I love my car, I knew I needed a G60 or a VR when some bloody ford fusion once crept past me on an uphill dual carriageway climb. And yes, I was maxing it through the gears to try and not let it happen! Took some comfort in that it was a turbo deisel, but nevertheless, was still gutted. Valvers have their moments though, and I wouldn't necessarily avoid one in the future. But if it's proper power your after, get a charger.

Welcome to ownership mate. Glad for you it wasn't a dog after all that driving! Must say it looks spot on from those photies. (the wheels suit it well, too) Treat her well, and enjoy the beeatch! :thumb right: :D

Not me Stan, I live in the sunny kingdom of Skelmersdaleshire. Also aint got a VR... (one day though)

Dunno who he's gonna get to remove both dents for £35. Last I heard it was more like double that per each panel worked on. Price wise... Not sure. If he's asking £2250 on the trader, chances are he'd take something shy of 2 grand. If the car's good, offer him around 1 1/2 and see where you end up.

Reggit, I think we have a winner! The wheels were indeed black on the one I spotted. I've seen this car before on the very same stretch of road in Wigan, so I get the feeling he's local to there. (Doesn't mean to say he couldn't have been in Preston though, does it?) :)

White G reg on Ormskirk road in Pemberton, Wigan yesterday. Older bloke driving. Still got a wave though. 8)

That grey one looks lovely (always liked the grey C's) but it has got the later bonnet on what should be an early car. Draw your own conclusions Oh, and I'd want it for a few hundred quid cheaper than he's asking. May be worth a look though.

I was gonna say to check that!
