Possible winner for funniest read of the month
Louie Lungbubble replied to randal's topic in General Car Chat
[bill Hicks] Not a physics major [bill Hicks/] This bloke's my new hero!! Gonna have to start a Police_Driver spotting thread. Poor fool will wonder what's going on when dozens of Corrados start flashing & waving at him in the street! -
^ ^ ^ ^ What he said. Didn't like them when I was looking for mine, but then kept seeing one (MatthweB1985's before he bought it) and realised how good they look. Wouldn't hesitate to buy one now! Good luck :)

My boss borrowed a 911 off a mate last weekend, and had the dubious pleasure of seeing what other 911 owners must have to 'put up with' all the time. It's a hard life, innit?

I think I've just killed ChrisVR6NOS!!
Louie Lungbubble replied to PhatVR6's topic in General Car Chat
Jesus, Take it easy Chris. Could do without another misfire there, feller. Someone told me once, that every hour you spend whittling puts a day onto your life, (probably) Dunno... The jury's still out on that one, but sounds like you need to take up cross stitch, or something. Get well mate. -
Tiff, in that Storm "Get yours now"! Took a while, but....

Thanks for that David. Top man. :thumbleft:

Can one of you good people blessed with ETKA find me a part number please? 1991 1.8 KR engine: Small coolant pipe coming out the back of the water pump. Only about 10cm long. Could try to explain to the parts guy in my local stealers, but from past experience, it'd be MUCH too like hard work for him. Cheers in advance.

LOL.. I was up there in my C this weekend! Went camping in Patterdale. Only Rado I saw was a reddun, M6 Southbound near Preston Sat afternoon. (anyone?) I did that same drive to Wasdale head via Hardnott & Wrynose pass last year too. Didn't know it was the steepest road in england at the time, though it did feel like it! Some of the downhill bits were the scariest roads I've ever driven on. Agree with what's said above though. Not a driving road, more a hillclimb adventure. Came home this Monday via Kirkstone. Had a white Skyline up my hoop all the way to the top. Poor KR was gasping by the time I'd hoofed it up there. Skyline was prob in fifth! Pics from Kirkstone taken earlier this year... How good's it in the Lakes??

Everything about that car is beautiful.... except for the hinges. Looks like you'd have to be about 2 foot tall to get into the bleeder too!

I'm liking that Gibber... :thumbleft:

Some bloke on the telly earlier (C4 - Risking it all) bombing round France in a green VR -
My motor's the same as dcuk's at the min. I've been told it's just as likeley to be worn valve guides letting the oil through as the stem seals . What's involved with sorting the guides... Machine shop jobbie to have them re-sleeved, is it?

White G60 razzed past me on the M57 this morning. Lowered with big multi spoke rims, private reg plate and a website address sticker on his side window. Wasn't our one but he did wave. -

Saw a Green C this afternoon on some nameless dual carriageway through Sunny Skem. Flashed, and got the old :thumbleft: back. Anyone claiming? -
What's the rarest car you've ever seen?

Saw a corsa today, in Wigan..... No blue lights on the washer jets. Gotta be the only one ! -

Was just behind a clean, white valver for a few miles down the M58, then in towards Wigan for a bit. G*** MBV Completeley srandard, down to the sebrings and even the exhaust (I think). CCGB sticker in the rear window and much waving & flashing going on. Aren't Corrado owners nice?? -
o.k im a thick 1st raddo owner, but whats the differance in?
Louie Lungbubble replied to pip's topic in General Car Chat
Maybe it was only an option on the early ones then. Either way, think I'll be changing mine over. Oh and yes, Pip your camper is 8) 8) 8) -

Or those caught in the changeover period. Mines an early H with no variable wipe action  A fiver for the relay eh? Sounds a bit cheap to me that, Walesy. Think I'll phone our freinds behind the desk. Relay Number 99 innit? -
Couldn't fault Awesomes customer service when I had work done there last year, but yer don't half pay for it. Haven't bothered with Dubsport for ages now. One of the blokes there was so ignorant with me once, I nearly lost it. Judging by the above, doesn't sound like Oakley's having fun with them, either!

Dark Corrado Southbound on the M6 near J23 (St Helens) yesterday afternoon, about 3ish. May well have been Burgundy, but I was northbound so didn't have long to check it out properly. Noticed they had their fog lights on though. Tut tut.... They'll crack y'know! :nono: -

Red M reg on blingy 17's parked up at the Sandy Lane shopiing centre, Sunny Skem yesterday. Corrado script on the back, but no flavour badge. 4 wheel nuts, so assuming a valver. Seen it parked up there a few times, but never knocking about. Think a flyerings on the cards if no-one owns up. :) -
Nice one Scarlett. Feel quite happy with my skip, after those pics!

Business post weren't too much cop for me the other day, either. Got a card when I wasn't in the first time saying they'd try again on Wed. When Wednesday came and went with no card I was preparing to drive miles to their depot to get it myself, but thought I'd just phone to make sure. Bint- Oh no sir, it's been delivered. To one of your neighbours Me- Ok which one? Bint- er... I don't know Me- What do ya mean you don't know? didn't you get the door number? I've got lots of neighbours! Bint- Hang on... I'll get onto the driver. [puts me on hold] Me- Bint- Sir... we dont have a door number, but the house he delivered it at had a red Celica on the driveway. Me- ..............Er. Ok thanks. Moral of the story is... Make sure one of your neighbours has a distinctive car if you're not likeley to be in to take a delivery from ECP!

If no VAG, then just or the laugh. I'd find a Daihatsu Charade turbo rollerskate, and soil myself round every corner!
