why not get the ones a guy on here with a name like 'neil' was selling - they looked great
  10. @veedubbed - sure thing, theres a set of them from vag : 030 198 031. however i think i'll soon need new injectors with higher flow so they might come with the seals. worth cleaning the rail etc up though and replacing the seals as i can't imagine them to be expensive. If i disconnect the injectors and regulator - will i get fuel spraying out? @andy - thanks. What did the injector/rail gasket set cost you from vag? edit - got the inlet manifold etc off - loads of room behind there - going to get steam cleaning tomorrow :) is there anything i could do with the throttle body while i'm here - have heard mixed opinions about porting it etc. changing the fuel pipes while i'm here too. anything else worth doing?
  11. Think i mite have 1 of these bud - il check Did you find one? Still after one...
  12. cheers -if you can find it that would be great andy the rail itself is wobbling around since i've removed various bolts - but the wiring harness part is very solid still - bought narrow socket heads just now so can finish removing the rest tomorrow evening.
  13. Wanting to remove the manifold and leave as much of the rest untouched - the manifold and TB bolts are lose (loosened quite easily actually) and got a few of the fuel rail bracket bolts off. My question is: does the fuel rail need to be removed to get the inlet manifold off? If so - whats the easiest way to go about it? Thanks
  14. cheers - the wideband is a little pricey for me though... had a new labda fitted within a year so should be ok. think the most sensible one would be the oil pressure then...
  15. thanks folks - have the cubby hole dial holder so only can take 2 - 3 would have been good though. planning on getting a boost gauge (yes mechanical), electrical oil pressure gauge. have read the narrow band A/F ratio gauges aren't helpful. any views on this?
  16. KUR2Y - again went out of his way to get me a loom with vag fixings on it - very helpful and great to deal with - would totally recommend his looms - they're quality items.

isnt a new belt tensioner cheaper? vag = £70.
  18. do you still now wait till it hits 80?
  19. imo metallic black is as good as it gets. awesome colour (biased i know but in these pics it just looks fantastic). very nice car - definately looking forward to getting mine repainted. have you tried all red lights on it? wasnt keen on the clear/red lights but after seeing yours i might be tempted to put them on mine....

  21. Has anyone got pics of their autometer gauges they mind sharing? particular the SPORT COMP and Z-SERIES gauges pls. thinking of fitting a boost gauge with either an oil pressure or air fuel ratio gauge - which would be most useful for a G60? not quite sure about the mechanical and electrical gauge differences - anyone know? anyone had an issues with fittings etc? thanks
  22. Think i mite have 1 of these bud - il check great stuff - PM me if you do please!
  23. never get the battery running down on me tbh - the bosche battery seemed to have solved that issue - car hasnt been ran for over 3 weeks and theres still plenty of life in it. just got an exchange on a 65a one from vag a week ago and today when placing another order i was told the correct one is 90a - hence the confusion! don't think the 90a one is really required - i run no stereo equipment so...
