  1. erm i just looked closer at the pics and it has got a g60 in it
  2. next time you go in there take a banana in for him he may do a better job, it must be hard to grip a spanner without an opposible thumb  i have seen that guy jigsaw chunks out of peoples rear valance and not even paint the cut section ask to speak to the guy in charge of the garage, i think its the chubby fella who usually wears shorts all the time  unless its a new or very expensive car they tend to treat them a bit rough, they told me it didnt matter that they had cracked the paint on the mr2 as it was an old car  they did seem to treat the rado with a bit more repect when it went in for a track and balance they didnt even resort to a scousers screwdriver (hammer)
  3. when i had my mr2 i bought a stainless janspeed for it after the mild steel janspeed fell apart. while demon tweeks where fitting the stainless one the rear valence was catching on it so they bent it out of the way with a tyre lever and cracked the paint. after driving it for a week the knocking and banging was getting on my nerves so i took it back and they had a look and told me that my engine mounts had gone, which was odd as i had changed them the day before i had the exhaust fitted after a lot of complaining and threats of legal action and letters to janspeed they finally changed it for another one which fitted perfectly as it turned out the first one was a poorly jigged exhaust. most of the lads in the fitting bay are ok but there are a couple who are bodge artists especially the one who looks like a chimp (if you have seen him you will know who i mean) it might be worth getting polyurethane hangers if you have not allready  if you are running standard ride height there is no reason it should hit
  4. found it , should also be able to use a potentiometer instead of a fixed value resistor so you can change the activation speed http://www.corrado-club.com/corrado/garage/spoiler.html or this http://www.jimy.org/corrado/kingLoser/l ... poiler.htm
  5. hahahaha  pimpin :afro: i wouldnt actually think of doing them in gold i was just wondering if it was legal
  6. well they cant be any yellow'er than the original p!ss yellow lights  you can buy gold and silver electroplating kits quite cheap which will plate pretty much anything 8)
  7. i love gooooooolllllddd the smell of it, the taste of it  seriously though would that actually be legal :?:
  8. how about having them electroplated in gold
  9. yeah 126 or a 127 as its linked from a 126 owners club site
  10. it usually starts around the bulb as that bit gets the most heat, i think you can change the back section without changing the lens though my dad used to be in the antiques trade and used to be able to get mirrors re-silvered and i recall a guy taking a set of roller lights in to be re-silvered so i might ask if he can can get these done too,as mine have just started to go
  11. are the reflectors in your headlights ok, as the silver does start to flake off after a while
  12. just did a search on yahoo for corrado images for a new avatar and came across this  http://www.simon.cstnet.pl/z1krzys.html i dont speak any russian but is he trying to say that looks like a corrado
  13. black vr6 with crystal in-pro's H**GOW on the m56 heading towards runcorn this morning looks like you had a bit of a bulge on the inside of your rear nearside tyre by the way
  14. at motorway speeds the airflow through the rad would be more than the fan could produce anyway so it sounds like the fan is not the problem :(
  15. are you thinking about making these for passats, or for corrados using passat handles ? if people bought the passat handles and fit the corrado repair kit to them they wont need the passat mech 8) the passats dont seem to have a problem with broken striker arms, it seems this problem is specific to the rado handles
  16. your kits should fit the passat handles as well as i think the only difference with the passat handles is the striker arm, its longer than the corrado one and requires the passat lock mech to fit the corrado
  17. ah well lucky i havnt used it on the rado then, looks like the rubber trim on the mr2 will go the same way as the rest of the car then, you could see the bodywork rotting in front of your eyes in this sort of weather  its also less embarassing buying silicone grease
  18. i used to use vaseline  ..........................erm for the mr2 roof panels that is  keeps the rubber supple and watertight
  19. cannondale cant remember the model number for cross country, and a heavy tools trials frame for dual slalom and a bit of trials messing about
  20. i was just about to ask the same question after getting home from work this evening
  21. i wouldnt normally put one on mine but its a damn site better than putting very muddy mountain bikes on the roof or boot and if i get a removable one no one will tell the difference, plus its only four bolts to remove the whole thing  trust me it wont be towing any caravans just a very light alloy bike trailer 8)
  22. your all a bunch of vultures  ............. (can i have the engine)
  23. sounds pretty cheap only problem is i want a removable type of hitch so you cant see it at all when its removed but i might be able to get a local engineering company to alter it for me  thanks for posting this up 8)
  24. bugger  anyone know how much they are from vw :?:
