did you see the smart and corsa crash test  so much for that "state of the art" tridium body shell design on the smart it actually came off worse than the corsa allthough crashing any car into a concrete wall at 70 mph would not be a very enjoyable experience  the impact made me cringe as i have seen a car hit the back of a lorry doing about the same speed on the m6 on the oposite carriageway

how come there has been no seperate crashed j-dub posts what happened?? what make is the die cast model?

sounds like severely worn cv joints, dunno how long they would carry on just take it very slowly especially when turning -
it might be possible to adjust your squeeky horn if there is a screw on the back of the horn slowly adjust it in and out while someone presses the horn im not sure wheather the corrado horn has this screw but its worked on other cars ive had

i love em, they are sort of ugly but beautifull at the same time and have one of the best looking rear ends of any car. one of the only jap cars i would gladly have apart from a tommy kaira 8)

i think it would probably be better if anyone who made personal insults about anyone else on here should either edit out the insults or appologise for them  at the end of the day its his car and if he wanted to paint it pale blue with pink polka dots thats up to him and maybe listen to the advice of barry and calm down calm down

my mates y 10 was only slightly tweeked and it would easilly beat a vr6 off the mark, they are lighter than an uno turbo as well you had to fight with the steering wheel as the torque steer was awsome  its not a very pleasant car to drive in the wet because there was one hell of a kick when the turbo kicked in
-
followeed a green one with a tow bar from the m56 to the heath business park in runcorn this morning saw a tornado red 16v outside staples in wrexham g***ybu on sunday
-
well as oakley has just confirmed it was a y10 thats quite unlikely
-
is the dash brightness control causing problems ?
-
i just spoke to my mate who had the y10 turbo and he said it was 85bhp as standard and by just winding the boost up a bit and chucking an induction kit on it he got it up to 110 bhp 8) in a car with the structural integrity of a wet paper bag 110bhp is quite scary  they where quite well kitted out though electric windows electric sunroof and electric rear quarter lights which i havent seen on anything else before
-
i dont know how they do it either they just seem to defy physics a totally nutty little car 8) and great fun until they come to a corner then oooohhhhh dear
-
you where wasted by a 1 ltre car then  that is a lancia y10 turbo 8) most of it is based on a fiat uno they might only be a 1 litre turbo but they weigh bugger all  a real street sleeper 8)

did it have a matt black boot by any chance :?:

i was round at a friends house on monday helping him clear his garage to put his quantum in ready for the engine swap, and noticed a haynes ecu manual on his shelf which he got off his uncle for working out how to swap the xr2i engine with the 1.8 zetec. i had a quick flick through the manual and it listed the digifant for the corrado g60 and shows all of the connections and also a list of four digit fault codes which it shows you how to obtain using an LED :!: i thought it wasnt possible to do this on a g60 or is this definately a mistake in the manual :?:
-
lancia y10 turbo maybe a mate used to have one and with a little tweeking it was insane it used to wipe the floor with his brothers saab 9000 turbo  you could sometimes see the turbo glowing red hot through the grill
