-
try and have a listen to someones "good" fuel pump just incase the noise is normal and you've only noticed it more because your seats where down  when was your fuel filter changed last?
-
do you mean the supercharger? i thought you meant it was actually coming from the charger from your description
-
water coming out of the charger?? there is no water feed to the charger so the problem has to be before the charger or from the boost return check your oil for water contamination and water for oil contamination
-
are the pressure bleed kits ok to use with the rado brakes (non abs) as i have a big bottle of the black and orange stuff too :D ready to replace all the fluid

whats the purpose of the pipe in the bottom of the cc? i am going to remove it when i find the time but will it cause any probs running it with the broken pipe in the mean time ? its not going to cause a vacum leak is it?
-
whats the bottom of the cc meant to look like, as i ran over some dense foam that had blown across the motorway from a factory, which seems to have hit the bottom of the cc and broken a bit of the pipe off :(
-
welcome :) yep its definately worth a trip down to g-werks to get the charger looked at. my charger was a low miler when it developed an oil leak and the lads at g-werks found a few problems with it so even if the charger is brand new theres no guarantee that its 100% ok. if the charger does need any work doing to it it may be cheaper to get some porting and fettling done at the same time if your that way inclined 8)

have you scrapped the carbon can or moved it?
-
has any one tried ducting the bottom of the airbox through the carbon can hole, as that should ensure a constant supply of nice cold air, be quieter that drilling the airbox and also look standard from above?

the "idle chit chat" is what makes this forum more interesting imo otherwise you might as well just chuck a bunch of vw data sheets up on here which i think you would agree would be usefull but very dull. :? is it really that difficult to press the down cursor a couple of times to skip past the "idle chit chat" if you want to
-
im not sure but i think you just remove the negative terminal from the battery for a few minutes and it resets as well as your mfa, stereo ect
-
make sure it has fresh anti freeze g12+ or whatever its called as that also contains corrosion inhibitors, it might be worth changing the oil as well spray all rubber bits with something like armourall protector spray as this helps prevent cracking give the interior a damn good clean so when you do start driving her again it will add to that yay im back in the corrado feeling  if you do take the wheels off also leave the hand brake off to prevent the calipers seizing if you have leather treat it with leather protector as that should help prevent mildew give the body a very good coat of wax polish a friend who used to be a chaufeur mentioned a wax that you leave on while its being stored similar to the wax on new cars but i cant remember what its called

some koni dampers have these grooves, 3 or 5 grooves is the usual i think to adjust them you need to dismantle the suspension tap the platforms loose then move the clip/ring then tap the platform back into place

whats the problem? cant you get the indicators out? the indcator should just pull out on one side(not sure which) and then unclip exposing the fog light screws :|
-
maybe its been possesed like this one  http://www.ark666y.com/4.htm (que tubular bells, theme from the exorcist)
-
i would imagine it does involve fluids of some kind  :D hehe, yea almost, draining the oil is her speciality  why dont i believe you
-
i think you just pull the indicators out and then you can get to the screws that hold the fogs in but im not 100% sure dosnt it say in the manual ? im in work so i cant check

they are normally 5.25" but the jl 6" drivers i have got have a very thin surround which with a bit of fiddling fitted in the original pods perfectly 8) you have just reminded me i still need to cover the inside of the pods in dynamat
-
the dash speakers are just clipped in to the holes so there wouldnt be any screw holes make sure if you get a set of 10cm/4" drivers that they are shallow enough to fit under the grills as the 10cm infinity coaxials i had where too high, i ended up using jl audio coponents, tweeters in the dash and the main 6" drivers in the door pods
-
never mind at least neither of you where injured and the beasty under the bonnet is intact 8)
