Love the engine, hate the hole................looks like theres a time warp anomoly from star trek on the front wing and everythings starting to get sucked through to alpha beta quadrant in the epsilon system.............or there could be a slim chance that it could just be a radically shaped air intake

A couple of mates use tomtom3 on the ipaq, they love em, they just download the latest maps and software from the newsgroups as i believe the retail stuff is very expensive

If its just a back box your easiest route would be to take it to an exhaust centre and get them to cut with a set of chain cutters as ive seen people try to do it with a hacksaw or cutting torch and they make a complete f*ck up of it, or if its a full system replace it with a stainless system which would come in sections from the cat back, or a full system replacing the cat with a bypass pipe for added power

Nice mate, Im gonna have to look into gettin some for myself when I finally find a replacement C to put the stuff on

You never know he might just have a bad one or have it set too sensitive (if you can do that), on saying that he is a monumental whinger who will find fault with anything, if you gave him a million quid in twenty pound notes hed ask for it in tenners, and I must admit ive not been in the car with him while he's had it, Im pretty sure you can transfer it to a bike but I think he said you need a different bracket or adapter, because he bought it to be able to use it between his 200sx and his R1.

Dont want to cause any probs, but my mates just bought one of these and he thinks it sh*t, keeps going off all the time for no reason, then wont alert him of a camera which has been there for about 8 years :?

Now I'd kill for the old 308 that Magnum drove, I can remember lying on my stomach after a bath as a kid watching Magnum skid from the grass on to the road at the beginning of every episode, why dont they put all the old stuff back on the TV...........Airwolf, Bluethunder, Streethawk, Manimal and Cover Up (Hi my names Jack Stryker)......now that was proper television.........or am I just sad as f*ck :?

Cut away the plastic cover that surrounds the allen head, then you can get mole grips on it, thats the way we used to do em, more often than not the allen head would round off so alot of the time we didnt even try, just get the mole grips on it, unless youve snapped the bolt itself then your f*cked 8)

Ssssssssshhhhhhhhhhh, It'll go to his head

I think it looks great , but like most others have said , the vents dont belong on the car, not saying they dont look like they are well dont or anything, they just done belong, on saying that I wouldnt turn it down if it came my way at the right price

Also forgot to mention that when the brace was fitted I had the problem of the Throttle Body hitting the brace if I let the clutch out a little sharply, although this could have been sorted by fitting some stronger engine mounts I think
-
Im with everyone else, the m3 crystal and red always do it for me
-
If its the same design as my old strut brace on my mk2 golf, you had to drill the inner wings to fix it in place, which wasnt nice, also I remember snapping 2 of the self tapping bolts they suppied it with, it turned out to be one of those jobs you wish you never started, and I dont think I would ever buy another where you have to drill the wings :(

Depends how bad the knocking and clunking is, could be a CV joint,.........but Hennys probably right as usual :(

Thats still the nicest C on here, I f*uckin love it, would you do a part exchange for my wife mate ??

I wrote my valver off about 6 weeks ago and am now looing for a replacement but I'm looking for a G60 this time, but my valver was great, lovely to drive, gorgeous to look at just like the all the other C's, and if im honest to myself fast enough for everyday driving  and at least with the valver theyre cheap to run (well, cheaper than the other models anyway) , fairly economical, but do read the buying guide, at least youre lucky enough to have found this forum before you bought one, I unfortunately bought one before reading the common faults so I bought one with broken door handles, faulty spoiler, FAULTY BONNET CATCH  etc etc and like I say after fixing everything except the bonnet catch  which caused the write off it was condemned as a total loss, so good luck to you mate and hope to see your new C (whichever model you go for) up here soon with some pics 8)

Leave the handbrake on tight mate, stick it into first and let the clutch out to the point just before stalling the car, have someone do this while your stood looking at the engine and note the movement on the block, any worn mounts will show by excessive lift in the block, then stick it in reverse and do the same, or you can just get under the car and check their condition

I think it looks great, would have to lose the badges on the side though, bit like putting an m3 badge on a 316 to me
