I asked about KW's when i was deciding on coilovers and didn't find anyone on here with them.A few people on Vortex have them and say they're good. AFAIK the variant 1's are height adjustable only, then the V2 and V3 are damping adjustable aswell. All 3 of them are named Inox line and are stainless which is good. Sounds a bit pricey to me tho, have you shopped around??

Suprised i never see you actually !! I'm on the A14 around 5 - 5.20ish every week night, i use the worsted(!) road/ski slope exit. Mines a J plate btw so wasn't me Would like to see your C on those RH's

3.5" is about 85 mm !! Mines only come down about 55 - 60 but its completely changed the stance of the car, feels like you really look down on the roof !! Had to put a 50mm spoiler on aswell -
It's the ABS system doing it's self test. It opens and closes each valve in turn. You feel it through the pedals. It's perfectly normal, they all do it. I think it does it at 10KPH, have a look in your owners manual.

Is that 4x108 ??
-
You're not talking about the ABS system priming are you ?? You can hear and feel that when pulling away from stand-still .....

GPC are going to be selling them soon - they're getting a load for GTI International and will be selling the arm and blade kits for under £20, or so i've been told anyway, i'd call them if i were you !!

Nice !! I would keep the centres black but put chrome finish BBS centre caps ..... can't beat BBS splits !
-
First i've heard of it so thanks for that g-man, another job to the list

I've had 1 8v and 2 16v's !! Love 'em ! You can't go far wrong mate, its good to drive a few to compare them ideally. Have a good read through the recipts/bills if any. The 8v 's are cheaper and easier to repair - and its big bumper so thats cool !
-
Is it 8 or 16v ?? What year ??

Engines should be good for 300k if well looked after, watch for noisy tappets on start up-should go away when warm, bore-wear(blue smoke) and worn valve stem oil seals(puff of blue smoke on start up). Gearboxes have a tendency for 2nd gear syncro to wear(light crunch from 1st to 2nd) can be sorted with synthetic oil. If the rev counter works and the computer display looks like hieroglyphics, try removing the battery earth lead and quickly flashing it back on again- the problem is usually caused by running the battery flat!. Wet carpets from inner door card membranes. Rust around sunroof, wheel arches behind mouldings and sills, the scuttle panel rusts around the blanking grommet, fitted in the redundant wiper hole on post 87 models.

Case of beer ! Wow, only problem is i'm in Ipswich !! But you're more than welcome !!
-
I've fitted mine and can tell you that you won't be dissapointed !! Also transforms the looks of your C !!

G6 OSF would be cool, but isn't it frustrating that you have to have the gap there and not G60 SF when after all it reads the same anyway.... I've been looking for plates for when my C is in Australia and came up with this in their 'Euro Style/Size' Again frustrated cos the last 3 buggers have to be 2 numbers THEN the letter !!! They do another smaller plate which IMO would look odd but i could have one of these... Even more annoying that i can't put one of those on a Euro Plate !!!
-
I saw a Red one this morning (7.30 - 7.45ish) going towards Ipswich in Kesgrave, just off A12 roundabout, waved/flashed. Sure it was the same one i saw opposite County Hall. Valver i think

Mines on the 7x16 et25 4x100's (rs 003) IMO you go for 16" because they're a good compromise between ride and looks. Mine are on 195/40 tyres at the mo and ride is not too much different to the 15", a bit harsher but not uncomfortable. You put 195/45's on for a softer ride aswell.... Only thing is they are very rare in this size/fitment. You can get Porsche 5x130's and use adapters aswell tho
