Hey Lee, i've just read through the 35 pages of this thread - Car is just amazing, the finish and detailing is unreal both inside and out, good to see a real quality job done, i always thought it was Black aswell !! Havn't dared myself to read before as i knew it would make me green with envy !! Very inspiring though, i really want to do something simular myself, and will once i've got a big enough garage etc. Loved the detail arond the rear lights. Really need to see it in the metal as i can see the pics don't do it justice - will you be at E38 this year ?

Just seen the PVW and it does look good - really thought they were 17'' RS' but they're Porsche 16''. Not bad for 2 weeks work aswell !

I agreeA20 LEE, i would join if there was a decent mag every 3 months or so. Could be kept secret as to whats in it just so theres something different to look forward to than sitting at a computer, and you can't really write whole stories on here. As for articles theres plenty of members here to PM if their C looks interesting or whatever. I'v ealso got an idea for an article that i'd like to write...

Yeah i paid £565 all up for Silverline X, such a good deal. Getting impatient waiting for them though,he said they would be here last week but FK are taking their time. Need to lose the 4x4 looks NOW !!

This happened to one of my Mk 2 Golfs and it was just the switch not making contact like you said I had a fire out of a Headlight switch in another Mk 2 aswell ! Wires all melted together, wasn't cheap to fix !!

I have to say myC has not been any trouble at all since i bought it in May last year, i've had the charger re-bult and a couple of services, cut the noisy cat heat shield off and thats it. But its only done 53K. Still managed to spend plenty of ££ on Coilovers and Rims though !

Get them in black from gpc for £5 each or spray yours. Back one pulls out(2 rubber gromets hold it in) For the front just take your grill out and unclip from behind. Just done mine and looks better !

This threads just goin the same a thousand others do, it all boils down to personal taste. Its hard not to say what you would prefer yourself or 'but if it was mine i would....' or 'i like it but...' quite funny really ! I myself can't just say i like without saying what i would of done. Like putting different tyres on it and....
