Geeez...that's one heck of a spaghetti mess! -
What's G12+? I recently flushed my entire system and used G12.
-

Good to know. Picking one up ASAP. Did you install one? If you did...how is it? I was contemplating the Neuspeed one also.
-
Using the Golf seats will make you ride high. Clean Rado BTW...
-
If your asking about me...I'm in So Cal.
-
Try cleaning it first...thats the cheapest way.

OMGHI2U!!!

Yes, its a plastic sheet. If your looking for G60 French fogs, I have 4 sets.
-
I just used yellow Lamin-X. It also keeps the fogs from getting chipped.
-
Check for any leaks...
-
I think I'll pass on that one.

From what I know...we are still using G12...since I picked it up from the dealer 4 days ago. Why would G12 be not suitable for the VR engine? VW has been using it since 96/97 on all the engines here.

my dad has an engineering company. Trying to establish if manufactured drilled disks are just the same as a solid disk and just drilled? Holes drilled after the rotor is already cast will sometimes cause cracks to come from the drilled holes. Porsche uses rotors that have the holes already cast in them. To answer your question...the rears are the same. There is a place out here that will drill the rotors for 30 dollars each.

Haha...I've been having the same deal with the coolant loss for the past few days now. I switched over to the pink G12 coolant on friday, and I've been filling the coolant bottle every day.
-
Might be the oil cooler seal. Its not going to leak unless there is oil pressure. Had to switch it out on my 2.0 and VR6.
-
Sign of a blown headgasket is oil in the coolant.
-
Maybe check the stabilizer idle valve? Could need some cleaning...
-
You got a clean ride man...

Speaking of cams...I'm working on putting a pair of DSR 256's in my motor in the spring. http://www.dynospotracing.com/z256c.htm

Pick up a boost gauge...its a good way to monitor the charger. If its boosting lower than normal...then you'll know somethings not right.
-
Well said. Doc...also you have to remember is that, your only making the power under boost...not when your driving normally. Thats why I said it depends on the driver. There are people that beat on their cars no matter what. When city driving...I usually don't rev over 3k. :-P I'll "get on it" from time to time...but mostly I just drive normal.
