  1. Hey all, Does anyone have a contact or know of someone who deals with fabrication of alloy or stainless pipework ? I need one pipe made up with a couple of bends in it, nothing really that complicated but needs a flange welded onto the side as well. I already have the required pipe in plastic / rubber but would like it made in metal. Cheers
  2. Hey all, Does anyone know if anywhere sells Corrado fabric badges i.e embroidered ones with either the logo (script), emblem, outline etc ? Cheers
  3. Hi, G60 engines go for around / between £750 and £1250 but most around the £1000 mark. Check out ebay or the parts for sale section here as they sometimes crop up, Cheers
  4. People in the UK and most of Europe measure BHP at the flywheel and then power at the wheels (WHP which is what everyone in the states quotes) is calculated from that, More technical explanation soon, Cheers
  5. Hey all, I'm thinking of getting one of these grafted into my front wing while the C is in the bodyshop getting the dents taken out of the side. Does anyone have any pics at all of these vents in place in their front wings so I can show the bodyshop exactly what I want done ? The car goes in tomorrow morning so this is a bit of a long shot at this late stage, but here's hoping :D Much appreciated
  6. Nice conversion and up to 350 BHP available reliably without going for forged rods and pistons etc. But remember everything you buy from the states will be made for LHD cars so will prob need refabricated etc. Also some conflicting opinions on whether you need to use stacked head gaskets to reduce CR or another method. A guy I know has a 12v VR6 Turbo Rallye, 450 BHP ish and was built and mapped by Stealth Racing. Should give them a call as I believe they have done this conversion a few time now, Cheers and good luck, BigTartanTimmeh
  7. Few of them, but having central locking pump and door handle fail at the same time and having to crawl into the car thru the boot was embarassing, especailly as I had to do this for 10 days till I got replacement bits. Then there was the time the window controller went and the windows wouldn't close, then it started pi55ing it down all night = one wet interior.... Cheers
  8. 155 mph ?? Uh.... The car was most likely only doing about 140 mph max ! (10 % over-read) Look nice tho' Cheers
  9. Was interested when I saw this thread but checked the ebay ad and it's just for FK AK coilovers which are only height adjustable and not damping adjusatable. Also they are powder-coated and not stainless and don't come with protective spray etc. They cost £280 plus shipping of £20.00 = £300 which at first glance seems cheap BUT Venom Motorsport sell them for £299 with free delivery and bit less risk and hassle than buying from Germany I suppose ? Cheers
  10. Had "issues" with my insurance company recently, sent me out three sets of documents with the wrong registration, and charged me £20 each time I changed the registration for my white one from B19 VWC to H953 XSE and then when I got the blue one from J*** TRX to B19 VWC  Got the amended policy through today and when I read the small print they have got my no claims as "non-protected" and claim that I never asked for it to be protected when I took out the policy. Yeah right, like I would want to lose three years worth if no-claims discount if I had to claim on this policy...... Normally, one lose between 1-3 yrs of no-claims if you make a claim on a policy that has not got a protected no-claims term agreed (I know to my cost as I lost 3 years no-claims discount back in 1998 when my Nova  was stolen and burnt-out). Cheers
  11. Har har, Sorted now, will ask my mate to post a pic when he has finished the set-up Cheers
  12. Hey all, My mate is thinking of running twin inlets of his g60 charger. He already has a flange to attach to the currently blanked off side of the charger and a length of flexible hose to get round the radiator. It is suitable to use a hose joiner and another length of hose to site the second filter behind the battery ? Does anyone know of a suitable type of hose to use and the bore in mm ? I have attched a pic to show the idea, Cheers
  13. Yes, I have done or had done a lot of work to my new C, and apart from the colour -change / respray, it's all my own creation :? Will keep updated Cheers
  14. Interesting, shame I missed it all really, would have been nice to know what people are saying about me and my car :? Bit sad for my post to be spoiled, just really wanted to tell folk about the car that's all :(
  15. Quite an involved job methinks, either for the v6 4motion or r32 option ! Best to speak to either jay renshaw, phat vr6 or coxy laad as they are all in the process of carrying out these conversions. Needs lots of time, patience, money and lots of wiring / conversion stages ? Best idea would be to speak to these folk and then try and get hold of everything together i.e. look to buy written off v6 4motion or r32 car. Cheers and good luck
  16. Forgive me but never been that up on ICE technical stuff. Can anyone confirm if I would be able to run a set of DLS Reference Series component fronts (6.5" 2-ways in doors and dome dweeters in mirror triangles) and set of Infinity Kappa 6 x 9"'s using this amp ? JBL Power Series 160W AUTOMOTIVE POWER AMPLIFIER UNIVERSAL INTERFACE FACTORY-HEAD-UNIT INTERFACE COMMON-SENSE TURN ON BUILT-IN ELECTRONIC CROSSOVER VARIABLE BASS BOOST DISCRETE DARLINGTON OUTPUT MATRIX POWER OUTPUT, 4 OHMS: 40W X 2 POWER OUTPUT, 2 OHMS: 80W X 2 TOTAL HARMONIC DISTORTION: 0.05% FREQUENCY RESPONSE : 10HZ - 50HZ SIGNAL -TO-NOISE RATIO: >100DB Cheers
  17. Anyone got any ideas on alternative door handles ?? Am still looking for inspiration, Cheers
  18. Cheers guys, Engine will be revealed soon :D Sorry, my mistake, the Brembo's I have are 305 mm, oops ! Yeah, the Porsche front seats and retrimmed rear bench went to PeterMunns a while back and prefer this other interior to it from a comfort point of view. Just need to get it retrimmed now...... hmmmnn RPM might have done a few other bits. The wheels are very rare 7.5 x 16" 2-pc Borbet B splits (try and find another set) which will be my day-to-day wheels. They will be refurbed soon and plan on getting them fully polished up 8) The MOMO wheel is 280 mm and just a tad on the small side for sensible driving, nice for shows tho' ! Will keep ya'll updated, Cheers
  19. Thanks for the kind comments guys, still lots to do tho' ! :D Could this thread be moved to the gallery section now please ? Cheers
  20. Ok, Couldn't resist, here's a few spy shots of her, hope ya like :D ! Cheers
  21. Hi Fraser, Will be taking some pictures later on in the week. I wish I could go to Inters but after having spent so much on the car recently, I don't really have the funds (petrol cost alone would be steep, priced flights and train and this would be £115, then accomodation, food, spending money, bits bought etc....,). I'd love to take the new C but it's not quite finished and would rather it was completed before going to any shows. Cheers
  22. Added some pics for comparison and peoples opinion Cheers
  23. Think that these ones look great IMO. However, the mesh would have to be formed so that it sits flush with the very front face of the bumper and would need to be colour-coded. Kills two birds with one stone, looks flush and aids cooling Cheers
  24. Can anyone tell me if Mk3 door handles will fit the Corrado ? Cheers
