Hey all, I am thinking of fitting newer door handles to my C, but am not sure which ones will fit and which ones would look best ? Want to go for something different rather than the usual Passat rears (colour-coded or black) or Audi 90 / A6 ones. I was thinking of MK4 / MK5 Polo handles ? Would these fit etc ? Any other options / choices, preferably something smooth-looking and delocked. Any thoughts appreciated, Cheers

Hey all, I am considering cutting out the plate recess from the fromnt of my C and replacing it with colour-coded mesh to sit flush with the actual front of the bumper. There is a reason for this, which will be revealed in due course, as well to look more aesthetically pleasing :D Also I am not sure where to fit the number plate now and how exactly to go about fixing it to the bodywork ? The other option would be to smooth the plate recess completely. This would look pretty nice but wouldn't allow as much airflow and subsequent cooling into the engine area etc. :( Has anyone carried out either of these mods to thier front bumper and what are people's thoughts ?? It's Struan mate but cheers for the kind comment :D Well had the car out today driving around in the wet (as pissing it down) and it's fantastic ! Think I will have to change my MOMO wheel tho' for one a bit larger as the car is really difficult to control with the 280 mm one fitted, both in terms of actually turning corners and controlling the torque steer when putting the power on. Can't believe how quick the car is tho and it's only going to get better and faster ! 8) Also got a quote today (£300) to fix the bodywork which was damaged twice in two weeks after some kind person drove into it (TWICE, the same vehicle obviously, as the dents were the same spacing and height) and drove off without leaving a note / details! :mad: I suspect the VW Caravelle van (dent's are exactly the same height as the bumper on the van) which parks in the same street where my blue C was laid up for a while ! :mad: Cheers

Pretty crap thing to happen, has happened to me twice in the past on my own Corrado's. However, 90 % of the bee-sting style aerials from most modern cars will fit and pretty sure they are quite cheap too, Cheers

Yeah, Was a bit concerned about the size / stretch of rear tyres but I probably wouldn't be using these wheels on a daily basis, just for shows etc, unless I reconsider sizes. Normal wheels will be 7.5 x 16" wheels all round fitted with 205 40 R16 tyres all round (already got these tyres / wheels fitted) Cheers

Hey all, From MyTyres.co.uk I have got these tyres looked out, in the following sizes, which I have been advised are the best for fitting to a rado' with coilovers (8x16" front and 9x16" rear wheels) Front: 195 45 R16 Rear: 205 40 R16 Just need to decide on which make / model to go for. Yeah, it's Subaru Blue Rallye Edition PPG paint with a purple tinge to it. Nope there are no vents in the bodywork (yet ?). Might keep the plates for shows or might chance my luck, but not sure as yet. More coming soon, Cheers,

Hey all, Just wondering how I would go about fitting 5 x 108 PCD wheels to 4 x 100 PCD hubs ? It it possible to just get adapters to fit the wheels to the hubs, or would you need to get wheels redrilled etc ? Any help much appreciated, Cheers, BigEastSideTartanTimmehG60

Was being incited by a Civic Type R at traffic lights when on way home from work. Lights flashing at me, revving his engine, I was in front. Lights changed and burned him totally. He tried to escape the cops when they chased us whereas I pulled over straight away and was honest and polite (mostly). Came out in court that the sheriff (judge in England and Wales) sided with me and said the other young guy was to blame but I shouldn't have risen to the intimidation. Other guy got 12 month ban (already been banned in past and had 2 speeding convictions) and £250 fine. I got smaller finr, no ban and some points, Cheers, BigEastSideTartanTimmehG60

Hey all, Cheers for the messages of support, I am STILL a Corrado driver, albeit with a few points and some pounds less richer but I count myself lucky after todays hell...., Was up in court for dangerous driving / racing charge but found not guilty and charged with careless driving instead, Kept my licence by luck and a good solicitor, clean licence / record and professional etc. NEVER, want to be in that position EVER again, Cheers, and may the dubforce be with ya'll, BigEastSideTartanTimmehG60
