  1. potatonet think your jumping the gun a bit there mate. Riley I would of minded to check your cam timing but it was getting a bit late, I can have a look at this if you want and hopefully prove potatonet wrong. One thing I would of liked to check was the wiring from the BTS back to the ECU, the problem you have seems to be very intermitant. Just read the other bit of you post about "some nutter did a 'nice' rwd u turn" Come on mate I was driving an AMG Merc it would of been rude not to. As for it being H100VW head light loom, I still think it is you indictor bulbs as that is the only think you havent changed yet :lol::lol::lol:
  2. There is 3 ways of doing it, super charger in to the turbo joined in series, but this limits the top end as the turbo has to suck air through the supercharger. or you can do it the opposite way. But as you say the best way is to run them in parallel but I want to knw how you actualy swap them over, which is the bit that lancia had the problems with.

  5. samg60 I couldnt tell you mate, you would probs have to do the maths. Yep the SNS web site is where I got the whole quote from, that where I found out why mine was running strong.
  6. Yeah who confused me that when you disconect the BTS my on my G60 the revs drop and it realy struggles to tick over, on Rileys disconct the BTS and the revs res slightly. maybe darren could clear that one up.
  7. Riley dude hope it was sorted and it got you home let me know. Just to write down what we sorted, timing was at about 20-30 degs advance, idle screw all the way in and CO pots at 1000 ohms. So set the timing back down to 6 deg, Co pot to 500, and sorted the idea.
  8. Chris M service interval, hum Yeah dont remind me. Well the crank pully is a vw item made for that engine so everything else must be okay with it.
  9. samg60 read the post about the larger crank pulley! olly elworthy nope timing is set to 8 deg's yes I know that is a bit high but I can cause I run WI, it is a stage 4 PSD charger with an RSR running big pipes, its just abnormaly strong, like the bull yes! My mate is Richie K, if that helps any off you understand. For those of you who dont, Richie had a 198 bhp G40 polo running a G60 charger at over 2 bar!

  11. yeah I know I need to sort out the flow to bring that boost down, wasnt ment to get it so high, but you know the rule you cant go backwards that wouldnt be cricket.

  13. IT actually vents at 23 psi. The joys of the 92 G60/Passat "3mm larger" main crank pulley (VW p/n 037 105 255) to squeeze out even more boost!
  14. I bought my Golf mk4 cabrio to be my Daily driver, but now I couldnt help but modify that, now that is running a G60 I think I mite have to buy another car for a DD. :lol:

  16. I had my single stage coming in at 8 psi, and Im going to have the second jet wen I fit it coming it towards the top end about 20 psi on mine.

    Wheel size maths!

    IT is, from the centre line of the wheel to the mating face, there for is you plus materail on that face with a spacer the distance gets less.
  18. Chris M good idea mate, but I think keithmac is right maybe a bit too close to the TB to be firing both jets. Also I was thinking that if you fir both jets virtualy at each other the water vapour will join from the other jet and cause bigger droplets in stead of the fine mist that you want. I think I am going to follow g-mans advice, keep my 3 gph(smaller jet) close to my tb or before my Co pots as it is now, and fit my bigger 5 gph jet in the rsr.

  20. Wot does fuse 14 do? my corrado does this, so does my merc thought it was a german thing. I mean if you got the door open there is no reason wny the windows done need to work if you get what I mean.

  22. Wow me and Kev agreeing :lol: mike_g60 I would say fit the larger jet further away from the TB. Im itching to get my G60 cabrio back from the body shop now so I can play around fitting my second injector, hehe I still stick to what I was sayin about fitting the jet after the tb in the g60 manifold, you wont get an even spray into all cylinders which will cause problems. So I got one just before the Co pot, and I can say that it works but that is the only place I have tried so it mite not be the best.. Now I dont know where to put the second, just before or just after my huge intercooler. As for removing the boost returm, wen you lift off the gas and the boost return opens, the solonoid on the kit will close so it will only be the small amount of water that mite get into your charger. I can see that being a problem.

  24. Would I be right in saying that the Co pot is not realy a MAF tho? On my VR I would never fit the injector before the maf.
