  1. Pretty sure what we call the Bosch motorsport coilpack is the same as this Saab/GM one on thread - pigtails off audi
  2. I might do this next- as you say win win !! They might even be more tolerant to heat soak and therefore be more reliable then oe. Next time I see Vince I will ask him if there any negatives.
  3. My mate is going to message you on ebay - he met you at the Dikes Robin from Stealth .
  4. What an absolute legend - dont often see one of these rare beasts for sale. Carlsson. https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/1991-saab-900-turbo-carlsson
  5. Thanks same to your rado.
  6. Hi Geri, Yes fitment was mm perfect to be honest and Indeed the P does stand for Pierburg the manufacturer VW commissioned to make the units - interestingly all the solenoids that come with a vsr are pierburg to and ready available still today.
  7. Thanks Shaun. Was a risk fitting them as tiger seal is a you know what to get off but it worked for the best- all these shit body kits knocking about and Zender and Kamei got it spot on all them years back - fitment is excellent.
  8. Bit of an update - colour coded zender skirts fitted and I’m delighted - box will be on shortly and 288 mm then all done ! Spoonfed spoiler has gone back to body shop as after the heat paint has sunk making a ripple effect in the light .
  9. Its a very common place to go - can buy the original decal from classics and the jet nozzle and gasket for the tailgate surround- best to source a new tailgate or a donor one to make a cut out.
  10. pics info - interior- story . Lets see her. They still make a great daily very comfortable car with a huge boot and good mpg.
  11. Who knows mate Vince is flat all year but I imagine in the next 8 weeks or so. You can come out in it if you like and test it.
  12. You need to upgrade mate running nearly 400 bhp . Goldfinger has a good set up.
  13. Thanks ABV. Just the vwms box to be fittted Brakes kit above Zender side skirts . The project will be finished and car used only in fine weather and sorned in winter and garaged - hopefully the car will out live me now. Without bad luck on the road or salt I cant see why not. Been a 3 - 4 year project and huge cost but you can really see the money put into it compared to the G60 its like a new car. My stock 280 mm lucas calipers will be fitted to my Mk 16v and the goodridge stainless hoses which are on the VR at present.
  14. Full 288 mm brake kit and hub refurb and track rod kit.
  15. Best upgrade you can make to a corrado transforms the interior and very nice seating position.
  16. Thanks mate I’m going to use Brembo and same brand for disc.
  17. Got there in the end . 288mm
  18. Yes vey nice but £500 for the set and I think knuckles are a bit like callipers wire brush and paint and that’s good enough for me .,
  19. I have sourced another one for £20.00 and the bearing- 99 percent sure it would be fine but that 1 percent would nag me to hell. Yu can still buy these new by the way from classics for 266 euro - of course thats is double the cost of a Genuine 16v mk2 one otherwise I would of just purchased new.
  20. Totally agree bit of a pain need to source a passenger side - better safe then sorry .
  21. Its about 1 to 2 mm deep - recon Im going to source a second hand one . I imagine the new bearing will be destroyed taking it out
  22. Hi I have noticed the disc cut in my refurbished hub would of happened when an old bolt was cut out- its not very deep but should I source another one as it could be dangerous ? ? Its the left side passenger for a VR . Think it where the ball joint houses from the wishbone. Thanks
  23. You could get some sick black leather recaro LS from the USA accessory brochure. Can be viewed on this link. http://www.xjamiex.com/mk2resource/brochures/1988/sportaccessories/sportaccessories.html
  24. I had them in my H540 UGK valver back in 94 - try and get some now impossible - at the the time I didnt even realise they were anything special - would love a set now very handy the headrests to throw a dog loop hangers over them that houses the blanket . I think people use to buy the front headrests and mod them in to the rear bench but they were different then stock rears- it was a £150 option and you could also get 60 / 40 spilt rear bench - the holy grail is recaro with 60 / 40 splits and rear headrests.
