  1. what a horrific waste of time and money, that is awful; front, back, side, whatever.
  2. according to this thread - it's just early 'sat hubs you need http://www.clubgti.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=42671
  3. pmsl, i'm getting massive, not much to do with the gym though, more the pies ;) Where've I been? Getting stuck in son.
  4. Blimey, you mean you're actually going to have a Corrado - on the road? I'm speechless, that means i'd better get going on mine....
  5. Cheers stu, forgot about your Borbets - they'll need adaptors so the offset will probably end up around 10 - I think only protrude an additional 12mm - sweet.
  6. anyone got any examples of 9.5s all round on a Corrado? I'm sure common opinion would be that it's too wide but I'd really appreciate some input from someone who's actually seen some 9.5s used and an idea of the archwork etc.. Cheers, Cole
  7. with the same driver they would all kill a VR, no problem at all with the exception perhaps of the mini.
  8. I absolutely cannot believe how quickly this technology is becoming affordable we already have supercar electric performance for supercar money, the Tesla is looking at being £55,000 and they reckon a £30,000 version will be available in 3 years, and then this lightening GT with a 10min charge time!!! For all its faults, the human race never ceases to amaze me.
  9. i'm pretty sure they're not running this site for our benefit.
  10. you can do this by first converting to 5 stud, then buying adaptors which are easily available from 5x100 -> 5x112. You can get 4x100 -> 5x112 adaptors but they are two pieces and you wouldn't catch me dead using them. I mocked it up on dubmodder when it was still free as I wanted to fit them, changed my mind now.
  11. Brilliant work! I'd say, just work out how much NOT spending a saturday morning out in the cold on the floor is worth to you, that's a fair price
  12. I bought something very similar to stylr 10. with a view to putting the guts of it in my genuines flip key. I've got to say I'm surprised by the quality, very solid, seemed a shame to chop it all up. Also has a specific setting so you can mount it in the boot directly to the air pump etc..
  13. x 40,000 I'll have two mint valvers instead please lol
  14. mine had the same symptoms with a dodgy ign switch, change it.
  15. That's it!! 8) I like that.. you've been thinking about that, haven't you Cole? lol, I had been thinking about the new name but my fingers just typed that , must be destiny
  16. Mate, you've clearly thought this all through sensibly, just a couple of nuggets of my experience. My C is just about to come back on the road and I'm seriously in two minds whether to get rid of my '95 escort and start driving the C. It's literally worth about £200 and sounds ridiculous but it's been so reliable over the past couple of years that I'm not ready to give up that confidence to rely on the temperamental C. I get the train to work so drive the escort irregularly but I know it'll start and run fine. Every time I go up to do some work on the Corrado, it's flat or running differently. So in essence, my Corrado still has a long way to go to convince me that it's reliable enough to replace a £200 'scort, which is food for thought...
  17. viewtopic.php?f=23&t=25012&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=15#p270015 I'm pretty sure I got mine for £140
  18. they look quite nice, any pics of them on a C?
  19. IIRC Kev, Cheesewire has done a fair bit of sound deadening on his VR...
  20. Agreed, I specifically bought a socket for it and it's technically a nut
