Cheers Joe. At step one so far - wipers at top of screen - jsut trying to figure out a temporary fix for now. Unfortunately don't have the bits you mentioned to hand. Is there meant to be a 'u' clip that goes above the ball joint?
-
Where the arm comes out of the wiper motor and joins onto the wiper-arm mechanism, has come off. It's sort of a ball-joint, and the arm from the wiper motor slips over the top of it. Now, I can get it back on, but can't get it to stay there - it keeps coming off. It doesn't look like there's a securing pin or anything. This is no fun as it's raining and I've had to come home from work in case it's pissing it down when i'm meant to leave. Thanks in advance guys.

Brilliant news Jim!! Told ya so! :)

would you trust this man to work on your car ?? lol

Is he trying to actually get in the engine bay??? -
Kind of agree with the above......but, getting 200bhp from a VR, isn't all that difficult. Although I agree that the G60 is far more tuneable than the VR.

1) I would guess that was Ant? (not sure he had those wheels tho). 2) Bloody low car and bloody tall man! 3) If it is Ant, we don't trust him anyway ;) hehe -
Right, Im not saying he isnt here for a good reason, but say he is here cause he's in the market for a Corrado? If he's read that time of 9 secs somewhere and cant believe it, then he's going to try and go somewhere else to get a proper figure, and where better to go than here? If i just joined a forum and was looking at getting some answers one some things, i wouldn't be too chuffed if i got that response from the system administratores  Rgds Ah, but I know that a certain member from this forum has been over on the 200sx forum making power-claims and questioning their cars. I must say that none of this is malicous in any way at all but I'm pretty sure that our new members arrival is purely a by-product of this other 'debate' rather than an interest in purchasing a G60, or even a Corrado. I believe that my comments were well-founded and will happily retract them if it turns out that our new guest has a genuine interest in the Corrado and it's community.

Lol you're R32C seems to be going down well Jim! :) Good job you lost those M3 mirrors though  ;) I really think you should email them to veedub :)

As above really.......the G60 0-60 is slightly faster than 9 seconds. Also, as above, we welcome any car enthusiasts to the forum, but if you purely here to try and get your kicks by putting down cars other than your own then I am sure we will have no problem saying goodbye to you. Also, if you would like to question the G60 engine, maybe Darren or John at PD Motorsport, might like to convince you otherwise. EDIT: oh, and welcome to the forums!! :D.........how rude of me :)

Definitely the 5-spokes. Prefer them on most cars over multi-spokes......although some multi-spokes can look tremendous.
-
I was gonna say that I thought that was Darren's!!

Avatar is still going Chris. Might have just been a temporary server or browser problem.
-
So if it's from a '94, how come the switches are in the door card rather than the speaker pod?
-
Yeah some dosh would be nice Chris ;) You know where it's probably going to go anyway! :)
-
How do you think he became a mod? ;)
-
IMO, 18's look a tad too big on the C - I think that 17's are just about right. From what I remember - 17's and therefore even more likely with 18's, tramlining comes quite a lot into play. Not running either, so don't take that as red.

Card games and driving can be dangerous!! *sounds of Tom being bundled into the back of a van, and being driven away to be shot* My sides! They are splitting!! ;) :( ...... I chuckled :)
-
So what mats do I have (minus driver's side of course) - they are black mats with silver 'corrado' stitched into them? Original mats from the factory? I just want a Drivers side mat the same

 You may mock! hehe.........when i get the whole lot sold, I should have between £1,000 and £1,200! So you can laugh! :) Going really well actually sold about a quarter of the collection in one day. Nigel (G60Jet) was mentioning that supercharging without upgrading to forged pistons can be dangerous. Now, obviously this is down to the heat generated by the extra induction, but is it a necessary mod for stage 1? Obviously it would be best but can it wait until stage 2?

Hi, Will try and find a link for you later if no-one else does! It's usually a problem with the guiderail/cable (or summat like that!). You can use a passat part if you can find one. Use the search function (top right of the page) and search for sunroof - should turn up a couple of other threads IIRC. HTH
-
Wasn't insinuating that at all Darren :)
-
Try having a look here. Was only two below your topic. Welcome to the forum!! 8)

Just cogs at the moment :) Yeah I'll catch you on MSN later (I've got a mic) - off out shortly.

Chris, 1) I locked the other thread and split all of the supercharging content out of the in-pro thread into here. 2) I quoted JoeM's question from your new thread into this one, above. (which you thought I had asked - was actually Joe and I was just copying his questions here). 3) Would there be any chance of the company that supplies the charger kit marking the package so as to not stand out to custom's officials? Marked for test/evaluation purposes only and and a notional value? Turn2 do this and mark packages at about $25 .... but I suppose the charger kit would weigh far too much too be worth under the customs value - could always mark the contents as "authentic US bricks"!! 4) Think I might start saving the pennies for this conversion.......by the time I get enough together, I might have found a decent insurance company (decent being one that wouldn't mind a charger!). 5) What do your insurance company think of you?? :D .... how much do you pay, if you don't mind me asking?
