Yeah, definitely a fan of black on the Corrado's. Could you please resize the pictures to a more friendly size please? You can email them to me and I will do it for you if you like.

Not too sure how the fix but do they have a blanking cap over a screw? Oh, and another welcome to the forum! Making a lot of 'welcome's at the moment! :)
-
Welcome to English-speaking version of a Corrado forum! Nice tidy looking C as well :)
-
Hello and welcome to the forum!! Not sure about the C eyebrow's but on my Golf's all I did was pop-rivet them onto the grill. Might not work on the C......well I mean you might not be able to conceal the rivets.

Excuse me if this sounds like a weird question, but why, if you are in the States, would you want to convert to RHD? As a general rule, anything that involved removing/installing dashes, is best avoided if possible! They are usually a pig to do - especially going from LHD to RHD as pretty much everything has to be reversed Then you are always bound to get the sqeaks afterwards as well!!

More of a tuning/mod issue than an actual problem (at the moment anyway). Moving.
-
Decatting covered (most recently) in here. Please use that thread. Ta

Joe - been managing to avoid driving when it's been raining - will do your mod tomorrow if it ain't pishing it down.

The lights look good (and the car in general might I add!). Think the smoked in-pro's would really suit the white C though IMO.
-
No problem mate, know how you feel! :) Don't mind swearing personally, but we have to take into consideration that young 'uns might be reading.
-
As mentioned, already posted here, so please keep comments in there. Ta.

Just been having a look at this website and really like the idea of having some German plates for the C. IOM coppers don't seem all that bothered by odd plates (spacing/lettering/colour etc), so I could probably get away with it. I mean, I have a white plate on the back! Just seems quite steep! Priced up some plates at about £80 delivered!! Whaddya think?

Don't think the front looks mean enough to me. All I think of is 'lupo'! If you ignore the front it kinda looks peugot-ish IMO.
-
Moving to 'Problems'......unless you have any objection, Scott? ;)

Did Volkswagen produce any Ltd edition Corrado G60's ?

.......Jim cracks like a nut ;) -
Welcome to the forum. I'm sure a G60 person will be along shortly :) Alternatively, try looking in servicing or common questions for the answer as I'm sure it's been asked before.

Insured on the VR fully comp from the day I turned 21. They weren't interested until I was actually 21 though. Quite a 'nice' postcode as well - fraggle rock does have some advantages! :)

Don't quite care for your tone too much in either this one or the last thread that you criticised me in, Brian. We are, at the end of the day, here to try and keep the boards as tidy and as user-friendly as possible. Quote from the 'General' forum description for you. "Insurance, wheels, non-techy questions, other VWs... this is the place!" Your command is my wish. :salute:

Will stick it in general for now - not particularly tuning or a mod......tough one to call though.
-
Hehe - know what you mean Chris. Yeah I think a nylon insert makes sense. Anyone have a spare one?? :D

Anyone suggest some good stuff to seal the inner door membrane to the door itself? Used some shite supposedly water-proof stuff but it's shite tbh. Do you actually need the whole door membrane on? On one of my other Golf's, all I did was hack a decent chunk out of the existing membrane and fixed it half in and half out of the hole at the bottom of the door. This routed all of the water into the bottom of the door and out of the drain holes. Worked a treat as well.

Yeah it looks like there is meant to be a circlip to hold it in place - be buggered if i could find it though! Nah there was nothing causing unnecessary pressure on the wipers - just conked out mid-sweep. I've given up now - I'm cold and wet and can't feel my hands - been trying to wrap some wire around above the joint. Bloody fiddly job! Will take your advice and drill it through - not today tho! Cheers Joe.
