  1. the white sheet doesnt make much difference tbh , i used electrical cleaner spray to get the glue off but i imagine wd40 would work ,you just have to keep rolling it off http://www.oichan.org/mods/lcd/lcd2.htm
  2. setting the suspension up is all about compromise, you can get it to handle like a go cart but it will rattle your fillings out good fun tho :-)
  3. very easy mate , one bolt on each arm ...thats it :-)
  4. lupo mate, done mine , the oe ones are useless imo lupo thread not cheap but is anything !?
  5. door handle repair
  6. i've done the loom which is very easy , no cutting of wires , just plug and play never done the door handle repair (touch wood) buti imagine its just fiddly as most things are inside the door panel
  7. get an uprated loom mate , makes a massive difference (the lack of beam pattern maybe due to the lack of intensity) , the c headlights work on 9v but with age its probably getting less now. the new loom uses the 9v to switch relays to allow it to run a direct 12v try h100vw aka gavin dave16v does door handle repair kits or try ebay
  8. the original c rear lights really date the car , nice upgrade
  9. i've done mine red and i used the halfords caliper paint , very similar to the brembo red, if you're going to clean them up then you might aswell protect them once they're done nothing sticks to them so they wash really easy :-)
  10. just relocate the cig lighter to somewhere else, like under the passenger parcel shelf etc etc
  11. wheel spin , power out and drift :-) easy in hindsight, with the recent rain you could of hit a patch of diesel on the road the rear shock adjustment is a pain in the a55 to get to , glad you're ok mate
  12. £150 !! the speaker has an optional burberry cover :-)
  13. 120 mph and ran over a rabbit on my bike ... now that was scary an owl in an R1 anyone :-)
  14. kevhaywire, totally agree , i want a car i can use not just look at, the 911 is the most practical of that genre
  15. second hand ?? 195 may look a bit anorexic on the c 5 spokes are best on the c imo , i like khans but £295 is probably one wheel :-)
  16. i found this when i got out of my car one morning ..bloody hitchhiker  lol he must have been hangin in there at about a ton for 1/2 an hr
  17. be careful when buying pedal covers for the c ,the pedals are quite narrow, so if you put wider ones on you can accelerate while you brake ..dodgy !
  18. iirc the shaft and spline size is different on the R32
